So i went to the hospital tonight. I have been feeling very sick for over a year now. I went in with a paper of symptoms to see if they have an answer. faintish/weak, bug like crawling feeling on skin, shortness of breath, blurred vision/spots, fever, back pain, nightmares, heart palputations, teeth hurt/tired jaw, loose bowels. Anywho i was in there for 4 hours the doc took my paper and made a copy and didnt even look at it. They did a ekg and blood sugar test. 2 seconds after the test a women came in and said i was fine and that the other problems have to be looked over by a outside doc because they are not an emergecy. Why am i being overlooked? I am 24 and feel like im 90. I dont want to feel sick everyday anymore and no docs believe me! My outside doc overlooks me to! My family and friends dont even believe me because theres always something wrong. Im not a hypocondriac!!! I really am sick! What do i do? I really just wish i could die in my sleep. Im so fed up and tired of this.

you need a liver panel done with the added antibody test for hepatitis c... leading new disease...(actually old, but many don't know they have it, instead docs treat each symtpom, usually with minimal if any relief).

the reason for antibody test is because a regular liver panel sometimes or sometimes not show an increase in alt and ast.

the emergency room is for emergencies...they did the most important tests...checking for diabetes and heart attack.

i know exactly how you feel! at 24 i also felt 90.

there are over 4 million in the United States that have HCV and most do not know it.

symtpoms range from what you have said (hcv can affect the thyroid-which is what gives you heart palpitations) yet your thyroid can show normal.

hcv affects the bone structure as well...it is not just a liver disease....many more symtpoms...skin rashes, low grade fever, hair loss, weak (lethargy). the bug crawling sensation we heppers have experienced on more than one occassion.
depression or any other diagnosed mental disorder could be caused by the virons passing the blood brain barrier...sleep problems....panic attacks....intestinal disorders, ie, IBS (loose or normal but larger than normal stoosl or a combo of both), diverticulitis. ect...ect...ect...

there are really too many symptoms to list, but my suggestion is seek the advice of a PCP doc and go from there.

it's not all in your head....you are not a hypochondriac. if you feel there is something wrong, there probably is! if you can think of anyway someones infected blood could of entered your body, you may have hcv...many heppers providing they are honest-don't know how they got it. something simple as toothbrush sharing (gums bleed), ear peircings....recipient of blood donation....tatoos....anyway you can possibly think of through blood to blood transmission, you might be infected.

get tested for hepatitis c.

good luck

In the ER they will only address your emergency symptoms. The rest of your symptoms where chronic and ongoing so those need to be addressed by your family doc. Since you are not satisfied with how your doc is handling your case it is time to find a new doc and start fresh. Stop in at your docs office tomorrow after you decide on a new doctor and ask to have your records forwarded to the new doc and make an appointment and get started with getting all of this checked out. A lot of your symtoms are consistent with anxiety aka panic attacks and those can be helped with medication. You mentioned fever but what exactly do you mean by fever? How high of a temperature do you run and how often is this happening and how long does the fever last etc. The painful teeth and tired jaw is something to talk to your dentist about. As for the loose stools how often do these happen and when do they happen ie: is there any specific pattern to these. The loose stools can also be caused by anxiety or by certain foods etc. Change docs and start fresh.

Poor you. First of all you need to change doctors. Go to a new one and if they wont take you seriously ( as they are prone to do) take a friend with you. I had similar symptoms to you and after much begging, pleading with doctors to listen, it turned out i had ovarian cysts, AND Ross river virus (from mosquitoes). I believe you have some sort of a virus. Glandular fever perhaps or even chronic fatigue syndrome. When you see this new doc, practice what you are going to say BEFORE you go, and make sure you sound forceful, otherwise they will just fob you off again. Unfortunately in real life i have encountered doctors to be arrogant and often uninterested. Get some blood tests. I'm sure something will show up. Good luck

Please don't give up! It sounds to me like you are depressed which often goes along with having many physical things bothering you. Many of your symptoms sound like they might be caused by anxiety which goes hand-in-hand with depression. For example, clenching your teeth can cause your jaw pain. Also, it's possible you might have chronic fatigue syndrome which has lots of symptoms. Make an appt with your doctor and tell the receptionist to make it a longer appt than normal. Tell the doctor you are at the end of your rope and no one will listen or take you seriously. Going to the Emergency was a cry for help on your part and unfortunately, they did not pick up on it. There are some people who do go to the ER just to get attention and the staff are really just doing what they have to do to get you out and on your way. The only way you're going to get help is to emphasize you can't live with feeling that way anymore. If you honestly feel suicidal, don't hold back that information. My heart goes out to you and I wish you all the luck in the world in finding some help. You deserve to be taken seriously.

Go see a homeopath & have your candida levels checked.
I was also feeling like s..t for a long time, and someone suggested this to me: off I went to a bloke who had a Vega Expert machine, which checked all my bodie's levels of all sorts of things, and it ended up that my candida levels were way out of control. After a course of drops etc, and 7 months later, I feel like a new person.
Apparently, high levels of candida can really mess with the immune system and generally give a lot of the symptoms that you describe.
This is not to say that you should ignore any advice from your GP, but often western medicine has a tendancy to just look at the end result, rather than fixing the problem from a root source.
Best of luck with it, and I hope you feel better soon.

I think you suffer from severe depression. You could benefit from consulting a psychiatrist for medication. There is a very real chemical imbalance that can be treated with certain drugs that can cause your symptoms. You also may have irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, and/or chronic fatigue syndrome. You may suffer from a panic disorder as well. All of these problems can be addressed (although not cured) through medication and cognitive/behavioral therapy.

Whatever you do, don't go to any "holistic health" practitioners. Although they may seem to "care" and "have different answers," they're just trying to sell you some snake oil. They have little or no real scientific training and will suck your wallet dry!

Get off the caffeine- don't do any speed or illegal stuff- did they do blood work?? Also-why does your outside doc overlook you??I would get a different one- having something wrong all the time is not good or normal- some doctors are very impersonal- get the other problems addressed that the er md would not take care of because they are not an emergency- you need to start there and get it taken care of- and you may - may be suffering from depression- D

Be there for her and take a look at and get her to speak to her father and mother... By her speaking to them offers her extra choices on wether or now not she needs to preserve it and even adoption she has extra choices now than she's going to later. Her father and mother will discover out ultimately simply be certain it is not to past due. And be a well pal and take a look at and support/advisor her to make the offerings she needs and now not what any individual "needs" her to do since she am has to manage it in a while in existence it doesn't matter what she comes to a decision... And like the woman earlier than mentioned her father and mother will develop to the notion and sure there is a threat they will unfastened it however the will not do any harm her or the child. So inspire her to make her choices in an effort to advantage her finally.

I'm not a doctor but it sounds to me like you may be experiencing panic attacks. My advice is to get a second opinion from another doctor and make them listen to you even if you have to book a physical that will give them more time with you. doctors now adays push you through instead of caring.
