In order to get rid of a fever, you need to take tylenal or acetaminophen. Aspirin and Ibuprofen are Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, but they are not antipyretics ( fever reducers)

If you have other symtoms that need the aspirin or ibuprofen for such as swelling or pain, it is best to alternate between these and the tylenal, one or the other no more than every 4 hours.

NO! take one. read on the back to see if it is a fever reducer. All meds take care of diff. problems. read the back but never mix two meds unless a dr. tells u to. u never know what the outcome will be. it could cause a BAD reaction. and i would try motrin.

yes you can. just be prepared the next time you take asprin it may not work. the best thing is to get in a cold bath and reduce the fever by getting cold.

don't take both...but ibuprophen is a better fever reducer because it is probably less upsetting to the stomach...good luck...
