I have infrequent panic attacks, which although mild are still very scary. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with them without medication? I find that Bach's Rescue Remedy is good and is all herbal. When it happens to me I feel sick and dizzy and like I need to get out of wherever I am. I also feel hot and clammy, my mind races with thoughts and my heart beats fast. Please tell me your experiences and what you do cope so I don't feel so alone! This has only been happening in the last year. Thank you!

The peeling starts off as black discoloration the size of a dime on the normally chocolate colored feet and fingers (especially index finger). These dont itch, but soon, the discolored skin dries up and starts to come right off, painlessly. I apply foot lotion every day but have not noticed any changes. I have also noticed that this gets worse when the dry season (now, in septemmber) arrives.

My 4 year old has been sensitive to loud sounds since she was young - when she was a baby someone just coughing would make her cry and scream - she occasionally complains that the TV is too loud - her day care teacher told me that she often asks her to make the other kids quieten down as they are too noisy - we have a mechanics workshop and the sound of the hoist going up and down is too much or the air compressor (which is outside) etc - she also has a problem with her toilet training - I ask her why she doesnt go and usually I just get the answer "because I dont want to" but tonight she said that the flushing hurts her ears - at home she will go to the toilet but then she leaves the toilet and asks me to flush for her - I cant pull the plug out of the bath till after she has left the room etc - She has had many inconclusive hearing tests as she always had an ear infection and she has once had perferated ear drums after a cold - some days none of the above effects her at all. Ideas?

I am writing in desperation to seek professional healthcare advice. I have recently noticed an abnormal growth down the centre of my face. I am deeply concerned for my health – this “growth” is unlike anything I have ever seen before. For diagnostic purposes I will attempt to describe it: the growth starts to protrude in the gap between my eyes and extends about 2 inches in length, ending about half an inch from my upper lip. From a front perspective the abnormality is triangular shape and appears to “bell”. At the base of the growth, there are two “holes” around a quarter of an inch in diameter. These “holes”, as I would describe them sometimes excrete a frightening green-coloured fluid-like substance.

Please help me – this condition is taking over my life… everyday is filled with torment, suffering and anguish… I cannot bear to face the ridicule of my townspeople any longer… I fear greatly for the wellbeing of my family. Yours sincerely, Fanny (Fannice) MI, USA

My 10 year old son had subtalar implants inserted about two years ago-these are little cylindrical plugs that go in between the bones to help correct flat foot. He had a severe case of this and the implants really corrected the problem. Now two years later he has been experiencing pain in his right foot and it seems as though the implant has began to wiggle itself out of position. This is something I was assured could not happen or the likeliness of it happening was very remote. The doctor wants to go back in and place the plug back in position. The problem is my sons dad (who pays for all medical bills) feel this doctor is trying to keep getting money from us, he wants us to remove the plugs altogether even though the doctor does not recommend it because my sons feet are still growing....My Ex says he will not pay for anything other than having the implants removed. He will not pay for the current doctor to remove them and he wants me to find a different doctor to do anything further.

I say HELL NO. This is retarded, if someone tried to commit suicide by OD on tylenol they wouldnt allow them to sue tylenol. Cigarette companies didnt force the person to smoke, and the damn warning label is right there!!!!
