I know a few people, usually girls, with deep scratchy voices. It always sounds like they have laryngitis. What causes this? It's their normal everyday voice.

David Gilmour is the VOICE of red Floyd. Roger Waters can sing good too, yet Gilmour wins this contest no doubt. even as it contains Songwriting even with the actuality that.....Waters takes it.

they could be smoking cigarettes, that causes a change in voice sounds. It could just be the way their voice is too.

Could be allergies or could be smoker's or just their normal voice. Peace!
