When I'm working, which involves alot of movement and lifting, my lower back hurt like hell and my left leg feel like it is about to give out. Also when i lay down for bed, i cannot sleep because BOTH legs hurt so bad that no position to sleep in will work. i find myself walking around the house half the night and sitting up with pillows propped up behind me ALL THE TIME. Please understand i do not lift heavy and i do take my time when i do lift something at work. The only problem i have with work is that lifting is always part of the job. It's not easy to just find another job around here, i got to pay the bills. Please give me an idea...

The custom made ones are £195 but the normal ones you can buy from the shop are £20.

Is there any problem with just buying the normal shop ones? Will they work?

and had bought the painkiller on prescription, when I turned up for my appointment at the doctors, there was a locum there who said she couldn't do it because she never had the relevant paper work! My GP is never there, theres always different locums standing in for him, I asked the receptionist what I should do, and she said she didn't know!

I am so frustrated, would I be able to ask a doctor at a different practice to do the injection?

I have chronic back and knee pain.

The doctors can't find a cause but it makes my life a misery although I am lucky as it doesn't get worse with activity so I can still lead an active life.

Any advice or tips on dealing with it? Do you eventually just get "used" to it?

We are getting a big tax refund. Was considering getting the tempurpedic since it seems so comfortable. But it's about $2,000 for a queen I think. Is there something better out there for cheaper?

I hurt my knee somehow (and I don't know what it is), but I won't go into details. Over the long weekend, its been feeling better, and I want to keep it that way. I walk around a lot at school, so I'm afraid the pressure that walking puts on my knee but make the pain return. Basically, its just a little pain when I step, as I put pressure on it. Not throbbing or anything. But aside from sitting down as much as I can in class, whats the best way to walk by putting less pressure on my knee, without crutches or any kind of support?

I just started working out for track. Today was my first day of formal training and about halfway through (when I got really fatigued) the headache. It has been growing since then and now it is crazily hard to focus. I just wanna put an ice pack on my eyes in a dark cool room and forget about the world.

What exactly caused this and how do I prevent it in the future...

So for the past 4 days I have had stomach pains, and the majority of the pain is right below my right rib cage. What could this be? (I am 22 years old, and it isn't my appendix because that was already taken out).

About once every month my back starts going into spasms. The pain can be described as the right side of my middle back start to feel painful and it sometimes affects my right frontal side. It hurts so much that it hurts to move and I am forced to lie down for a long period of time. I used to think it was probably something I ate, but it has nothing to do with it. My aunt said it could be caused by ovulation, but this has been happening to me since I was 13, 3 years after I got my period. The only thing that eases the pain is Salon Pass ( a adhesive heat patch) which relieves the pain. I'm just checking if anyone out there has this type of pain as well.

I have had migraines I since I started my cycle & got put on BC for irrgular cycles when I was 12 years old. I would have them everyday & they would last for weeks on end. I would have maybe 2 or 3 days out of a month that I didn't have a migraine. I am 27 now, up until I was 19/20 I had just OTC drugs for them then I got put on Verapamil, that seemed to help for a while then stopped. I've tried AMERGE & Imitrex tablets. Then I lost ins. so I just went back to OTC drugs. I've just recently been tried on Zonegran, didn't work. And now Im on Topamax, I can only do the 200 mg because of the side effects. I have Imitrex injections for when I get one. I always get one the week before my cylce & the week of which is probably hormonal. Im doing a chiro right now & that doesn't seem to be helping. I've had a MRI & came back fine. Im having breakthrough headaches more & more...and was wondering if anyone knows of anything that I could do for them since the meds are wearing off???

I've been dealing with this burning throbing pain for about a year now. I have had mri's,bone tests, one epidural injection plus some more tests done. My Local pain clicnic told me all the tests look fine so there for there is no pain.
I told the Doctor to tell the pain that!
Every morning begins like the one befor,no pain but after i am awake for an hour or so the pain begins all over again. My pain begins in my lower back then radiates down both budocks then down both of my legs and it's a burning tingling pain+my small finger on my left hand is numb all the time.
I either sit or lay around all day takeing about 1/2 dozen or so percription pills along with a Lididerm patch but the onley relief i get is from a Vikeaden pain pill.
Strange i can wax a car and do outher things that dont bother me as long as i am in a standing position i dont feel the pain.
When i sit down the pain is there with a vengence
I'm just wandering if anyone else has had this problem .
Thanx
