- YOU SHOULDN NOT DO THAT

- that anat acid can neutrlaize the acidity at stomach and you can get good night BUT AT THE SAME TIME you masked the disease " what is exactly occurs or why you have hurt burn "

- 1st you must seek medical advise to have what is causeing hurt burn many diseases could cause it as " peptic ulcer , chronic oesphgitis , gastro-oesphgeal reflux , increased VAGAL tone , or as complincation to other medication "as aspriin or NSAIDs" ...ect "

- each disease has his specific treatment so when you exactly knows what you have you simply can treat it " and may have compeletly cure"

- BUT if u know what is you disease QuickEaz or any anti acids is simply an alkaline matrerial which neutralize the acidic medium of the stomch which is resposible for pain BUT YOU MUST TAKE IT IMMEDIATLY BEFORE MEALS or during it not after

I haven't heard of QuickEaz... I can tell you, however, that most over the counter antacids (such as Tums and Mylanta) work by neutralizing the acid in the stomach. For this reason, they work VERY quickly... unfortunately, the stomach reacts by producing still MORE acid so the effect typically wears off within the hour. Thus, these medicines are effective for immediate relief of symptoms that aren't anticipated to last more than an hour.

Pepcid and Zantac can be purchased in low doses over the counter. These medicines work by suppressing the stomach's production of acid. They take about 45 minutes to take effect but their effect lasts for 12 hours or so.

Seems like the Pepcid and Zantac are the medicines that have the effect that you're looking for. Try the over the counter versions - if they're not effective, see the doctor to consider a prescription strength version of the same.
