When I'm working, which involves alot of movement and lifting, my lower back hurt like hell and my left leg feel like it is about to give out. Also when i lay down for bed, i cannot sleep because BOTH legs hurt so bad that no position to sleep in will work. i find myself walking around the house half the night and sitting up with pillows propped up behind me ALL THE TIME. Please understand i do not lift heavy and i do take my time when i do lift something at work. The only problem i have with work is that lifting is always part of the job. It's not easy to just find another job around here, i got to pay the bills. Please give me an idea...

you have a back injury and the best think you can do is rest and not to lift anything heavy or you well have a back problem for along time

I honestly don't know why, but I do know the solution. I went to a doctor the other day & got a prescription for Elavil. It is an anti-depression drug, but it helps with night time pain management. That is what she told me, anyway. I'm just going to take her word for it & hope that it helps. I've not started it yet, as I just filled my prescrition yesterday & came down with a sore throat. Don't want to mix drugs right now. Good luck with your doctor getting you a prescription. The good thing is that I can also still take Aleve/naproxen for the pain & it works fairly well for me.
