I have been suffering with an extremly bad back for the last 9 weeks. My Dr had been treating it as acute muscle spasm for 7 weeks but now fears I have a prolapsed disc (also pins, needles and numbness in my leg all the way down to my toes) He wants me to have a MRI scan and physiotherapy but could take at least 12 weeks to be seen.
I can't stand the pain and discomfort any more so am thinking of seeing a chiropractor, Has anyone had any experience of them and more importantly do they help.
Thanks.

my mum has carpel tunnel syndrome, she has had injections to help it but they never worked so they booked her in for an operation on it.she then also developed a lump on her ankel that the said was a ganglian and they would need to cut it out so they will combine both operations into one.they told her they will keep her awake through this as she has brital ashma, enphysemia and that putting her asleep could cause a servere ashma attack, she went for the operation this morning and they have now said that they aint sure if it really is a ganglian and need to do a biopsy instead.they are also now going to put her to sleep.it really worried me now.what if something goes wrong,,,you hear how crap hospitals are now and can never put your trust in them

Unfortunatly ware he was seen for the ear infection they left a peace of cotton w/ solution inside his ear so it would soak. And ware instructed to remove it when we got home unfortunatly when I looked for the peace of cotton
it was no ware to be found. I am afraid the it's gotten in deeper. Does anyone know if this could couse a serious injury to my dog.

I had an infection in my tooth, the dentist couldn't do a root canal cuz it was so bad. so he cleaned the tooth out and injected an anti biotic into it ( that hurt sooooo bad ) then later that night when I didn't think it could get worse it did. I was taking lortab after lortab, I eventually had to go to the emergency room it was so horrible. they gave me a shot of morphine in my butt oh the relief

Sometime my right leg goes numb from the knee down. It doesn't seem to be related to sitting or standing, because it has happened either way. It usually stays numb for several hours, and no matter how much i wiggle my toes or massage it, it doesn't feel normal. I do not feel pins and needles, it is just a numb pain. This has been happening for a few months now, and it is starting to scare me.

Does anyone else get the killer cramp in your calf where it wakes you up in the middle of the night and you have to jump out of bed instantly to stretch your leg out?! Or is it just me? It killed me last night and now I can barely walk on it. Is there a reason for this? Feels like I have a giant knot... How do I make the pain in my calf go away?
