call the md on call and say you still have pain. most dentists are now prescribing motrin so be happy you got vicodin at all! if you continue to have pain like this, you may be infected.

i think of that vicodin may be better than sufficient. Percocet makes me woozy and no longer able to function. I in basic terms had to take painkillers for an afternoon and a 0.5 after each and each around of extractions (had 2 out at a time) and then I used ibuprofen or tylenol to handle the soreness. there's a sprint soreness yet frequently that is only tiring and gross.

Girlfriend, it won't hurt to ask, all she or he can say is NO. When i had ALL my wisdom teeth out at once they gave me morphine but that was a long time ago, like 25 yrs but sometimes it really just depends on your dentist. I take Lortab which is hydrocodone, same as vicodin but it seems to work the best out of all the vico family. I'm in pain management and have severe scoliosis, etc. so my pain doc will give me just about anything i want. He has given me Fentanyl patches (which are 80 times stronger than morphine, Oxycodone, Morphine, Methodone, etc. but i don't want all that super strong stuff and chance getting addicted!!!! But good luck, there is nothing worse than tooth pain next to back pain..........................just go ahead and ask him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He might give you a few?????????????????? Good luck

Vicoden works better than percocet for me, esp. extra strength. Do you need to have the tooth extracted? I recently had one extracted. I took X-tra strength vicoden for a few days, then I was fine. Good luck!!

Vicodin works pretty good. I would take that. You won't complain anymore.

I suggest that you just pull it out...Trust me, my wisdom tooth hurts and I'm getting it pulled out immediately. It's better than constantly going back for pills. :)
