First Time Taking Valium?

Question

Anything that I should be conserned with? Im takin it for a surgery. Should I deffinetly feel the effects of it?

I have to admit I have tried it once but not for medical procedures.. anyways, since you're takin' it because of a surgery then it's completely alright. You'll just feel light and even though you want to worry about something, you just can't because of the relaxed sensation you are going to have..:) good luck with the surgery:)

Valium worked really well for me. It definitely helps you feel relaxed. My dentist prescribes me Valium for each time I go to the dentist (the sound of the drill, even if it's not on me, sends me into a complete meltdown panic attack). I've had to take Valium for different reasons but each time it worked wonderfully with no groggy feelings after it was out of my system.

Im not sure what dose your doctor is going to give you and unfortunately I don't recall the strength of my prescription, but I do know that by taking 1 pill I felt relaxed and with 2 pills I was relaxed and kept dozing off, yet I was still completely aware of what was going on. I know that may sound a bit of confusing, but once you take it I'm sure you'll understand.

if you have never taken it before you will probably feel it. its a wonderful feeling, very calm and relaxing, you'll feel sleepy. some people don't feel it. I"ve taken like five at a time before and still been panicking. but some people take a half of one and they are out. good luck. you will be fine. and as soon as they give you the medicine to knock you out you won't even know whats going on

you should feel the effects of it. the 1st time i took it, it was 15mg and i didnt feel **** but another time i took it and it helped me fall asleep.
