The pain extends to the right side of my tongue as well. I also have daily headaches. Can anyone identify with this problem?

I had grinding teeth which caused massive headaches & pain on my gums, and area.

Its a easy diagnose--take your finger & press gently into the side of your ear. Find which side the pain is coming in on & that is the side that you are grinding the most.

Bite plates really pricy about $300 but no adays there are $40 things that you can make from a drugstore kit.

Its worth a try.

Possibly TMJ:

If you chew gum regularly, try to stop. Chewing gum really aggravates TMJ.
