I had a pain in my neck earlier this week (couldn't move my neck much without excrutiating pain) and now the pain seems to have moved down into my upper shoulder and it's so painful it brings me to tears. What's wrong? Should I go see a doctor? Any home remedies?

you might have pinched a nerve, but if the pain is that unbearable go see a doctor. Have you tried a heating pad or ice?

yes go to the doctor. Did you get in an accident lately? Sounds like whiplash, but see a doctor anyway. If you are crying from the pain, at least they can give you something to make you feel better. Then they will take some x-rays. Andrew

a doctor is always best. My friend had that happen and it was spiral meningitus. While that may not be the case def. go to the doctor.
