I've been getting full on migrains very frequently in the past few weeks.

They usually come with all the light sensitivity and such, but also total lack of energy. So, I got my blood pressure tested while I was having pain and found my blood pressure low.

My question - Is the low blood pressure causing the headachs or is it more a side affect?

I often suffer from pain in my head , not complete head but some part generally in back part , This type of pain is not like the "headache" pain. It is like when we suffer from some head injury, like if the head bangs on the wall.....we have a pain that last few days.

I get this type of pain.......and it suddenly occurs and vanishes in a day and occurs back again after some days......i haven't got any head injury.

Does anyone know......what it cud be.

I set at an office desk 7 hours a day, 5 days a week... by noon by back and shoulders are killing me. Sometimes the pain just continues up my back until I have a headache. What can I do to alleviate the pain without taking pain killers?
Sometimes I sneak into the breakroom and do stretches, but that only helps for a few minutes.

I've had tension headaches for 2 weeks straigt, been on multiple meds all has failed, and had two CT scans that came out fine. I have nausea off and on and have a stiff and achy neck. I am irritable and depressed possibly from the constant pain. The doctor has no clue what is wrong with me then it dawned in me. I was in a car accident about three weeks before the headache came on. I didnt bump my head or anything, but there was enough impact to where my head could have jerked enough for whiplash. I saw a chiropractor who did take x-rays and saw a sign of whiplash in my neck. Is this causing my headache? Is it possible the symptoms were stagnant for three weeks? Do I have a case against the liable insurance company? They already accepted liability and paid to fix the car. Still working the diminished value investigation. Help me please! I am in so much pain and want to get better.

I very rarely drink alcohol and get at least 8 hours of sleep but I wake up most every morning with a headache. Sometimes they go away within the first hour or so and then sometimes they linger all day. Although I say I get 8 hours of sleep I'm a light sleeper and my sleep is interupted probably 4 times a night (kids waking up and trips to the bathroom). I don't know what the deal is but am tired of dealing with the headaches.

Why is that when me, my sister and my brother lack sleep, we feel leg pains that seems to come from the bones, is it really the bones that are responsible for he pain? Is it the muscles above the bones? Or is it just a reffered pain?

I had gastric bypass surgery in 12/04. I have had no complications of any kind.

In the last 2 weeks, however, something bad is happening. I thought at first that I was becoming lactose intolerant and the lattes I drink each morning were becoming a problem. I gave them up 2 weeks ago. Not that.

I have VERY painful gas and a tremendous amount of bubbling in my stomach all day long which leads to back pain, headaches and diarrhea. I have tried many OTC remedies for both stomach upset and gas and nothing is working.

I am in the middle of a probationary period at a new job, my health benefits will not come into play for another 3 wks. A doctor’s visit is out of the question.

Does anyone out there know what this might be? I have read on some GB forums of some TERRIBLE issues people have had post-surgery, like small tears in the new stomach and the like. But in every case I read about, that came to the fore much earlier than this. Anyone have any informed ideas about this?

My co workers ear infection has been contant pain for about two weeks. The steroids have not relieved the pain, so they are suggesting piercing the ear drum to allow the fluid to drain and hopefully stop the pain. Has anyone had this done? Does it hurt? It's sounds painful. Should she be concerned?

My mother has been suffering from severe pain in the lower hip area. She suffers from pain when she stands, sits, walks, does any physical activity for 10mins or more (some days less than that). She says she feels a pain in the bone area of the hip (it looks as though it may be the head of the femur). The pain is so severe she can't even move at times. She has gotten up from bed & fallen due to losing stability in her left leg. Says whenever she's heard a POPPING sound she feels better for a moment. (I've actually heard it POP that's how loud it sounds). Doesn't happen too often, though. She had surgery last year b/c the doctor was under the assumption it was a hernia (from the area she was feeling pain) but that wasn't the case & a year later, it's gotten worse. She also has degenerative disease of the spine. What could this be? A bone fracture, arthritis? MRI results came back ok but it only focused on the pelvic area & not the surrounding bone of the leg.

I had surgery Jan 15th. My doctor prescribed Vicodin 500 mg for me which was working fine.

When I called to get another prescription, he called in Tramadol 50 mg for me.

Is Tramadol supposed to be more effective because I find that is not working for the pain as well as the Vicodin.

I understand that doctors are concerned about the addicting effects of Vicodin, but it was working fine for the pain.

Should I take 2 Tramadol instead of one, or should I call my doctor back and tell him that the Vicodin worked better for me?

I have a long neck which can well be called I s’pose the most vulnerable part of my my body….
I experience a very intense, excruciating pain like it’s a thousand nerves breaking whenever I strech my hands or the like too far…for example when I was getting up from bed yesterday…I stretched my hands upwards and suddenly it all started all over again!
It is very intense and twice I had a vasovagal(it’s a kinda fainting) due to it…
It happens only on upward stretching of shoulders and the like
It even effectd part of my face coz the near portions were feeling numb afterwards…
They say its just calcium deficiency….
Have u all experienced the same pain sometimes?...its very very regular with me….n now its becoming a real problem…what did ur doctor say it was?

I am addicted to pain-killers and everyday I promise myself to take less and to try to get through the day but I am unable to do this. Nobody knows that I take these pills but without them my body hurts and I cannot function. I am too young to be doing this and was wondering if anyone else can relate to me and perhaps advise. Thank you. Cherie

Now when I push my head back to look at the cieling or tilt it side to side it hurts still, seeing its only been 2 days. But it hurts a little below the neck and shoulders, in the center, feels like its around the spine i suppose. Any suggestions?
