Sounds like you are at school. There is a very good reason the nurse wont give you anything. Even a simple thing such as Tylenol needs a doctors note in order to be given at school. I'm sure you already new that though. Bad thing is, if you are caught taking anything that anyone else gives you while at school, you could be in BIG trouble. There isn't much else you can do for the cramps in school. If you were home then there are many other things you could try. If they get worse, go back to the nurse and lay down for a few minutes. I'm assuming these are menstrual cramps. If not, i hope the nurse has assessed you more. Good luck.

MUSCLE cramps - it sounds strange but take a swig of molasses, it gives you the potassium and magnesium your body is screaming for. Bananas on a daily basis is second best. For more on muscles that most doctors don't even remember because the information is so widely spread out - The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies is understandable.

You need some Motrin girl. Naproxim Sodium works good to. Then lay down so that the pressure is taken off your female organs. I always used a heating pad on my stomach and had ice cream. I hope you feel better soon.

Try milk. It actually has a calming effect. Maybe it won't get rid of the cramps, but it may make you feel better. Cookies, too, for a quick carb hit that might help your seratonin levels.
Avoid caffiene and soda, they will make it worse.
