As a man who's never spent a minute in medical school, nor taken so much as a health class since High School, I would recommend you see a doctor who HAS gone through such schooling.

Just stop taking them. Think what damage they cause you, and addiction can lead to worse addictions. Plus, they are not made to make you feel anything but lack of pain. That's why they're called pain killers. If you are not in pain, you must not take them. They are bad for you, and they are drugs, you know. Please read the instruction leaf and see how damaging they are if not necessary for a medical condition, and just quit them because YOU want to. Be strong. And stop drinking too. There is no other option. Just stop. Ask a friend or parents to help. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to take.

If you are still around I will assume you have already been to the hospital. Now do yourself a favor and learn more about the muscles that probably caused it by getting too tight. The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies will be a valuable resource any time muscles and most times pain is involved.

Go to a doctor and get this checked out!
You don't want to mess around with something that is making it hard for you to breathe.
If you're worried about the cost, go to an Urgent Care clinic. (Cheaper than an ER and they'll transfer you if it is anything serious.)
