So I have this pain in my back. It was after doing some sport activities and my right side of my body including my arm hurt. Now when I push my head back to look at the cieling or tilt it side to side it hurts still, seeing its only been 2 days. But it hurts a little below the neck and shoulders, in the center, feels like its around the spine i suppose. Any suggestions?

After a sports activity? Probably strained muscles. It will get better in a few days. Of course, if it persists go see your doctor. Fibromyalgia sometimes begins in the neck, shoulder blades and spine. They are "tender" points throughout the body which could be affected. Good Luck.

Muscles - I agree - more specifically trigger points in the muscles. As soon as you can have a massage therapist spend time on your back. But also inform yourself by getting a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies from the library or the book store. You will be amazed.

May be the muscle had stretched or got tight. Do some good massage to relax the muscles the pain will reduce little by little

Hmm.
When I came down with Pnuemonia, before the coughy cold symptoms set in, the first thing I experienced was a horrid pain in my upper back in one spot. Worst pain ive experienced in a long time.

It sounds like you pulled a muscle. You probably need some inflammatory medicine.
