Migraines are curable if you can find your specific trigger. For some people it is as easy as avoiding certain foods or staying away from alcohol. For others it is more complicated and they may have unavoidable triggers like perfumes and colognes or it can be hormones that trigger them.

There are many causes for migraine headaches. You need to see a doctor about it. One of the latest causes I just read about...a small hole in your heart (lots of babies have this and it heals over) After the hole was sealed the migraines went away. Also allergies have to be considered. Keep a food diary and note if there is a relationship between what you eat and when the headaches begin. This takes a bit of effort, but it is worth it if you can get rid of the pain.

if you dont have any allergic reactions to herbs or have no problem with taking them then try taking magnesium. 200mg capsules start 3 in morning 2 at night. try that for about 2 weeks then go to 2 in the morning 1 at night. a week later 1 and 1. a doctor prescribed this to my daughter who has very bad migraines and it did work for her.

Most headaches and migraines ( 90 percent) according to a doctor on television, would be prevented if people avoided caffeine and MSG. As MSG is now in most pre-prepared foods, you have to avoid all fast food, most cold cuts, most canned foods, most food in boxes, especially cookies, candy and most cold-cut meats unless the label specifically says No MSG in the product.

Like women, migraines are very complicated and hard to find the cause of why they are a nuisance or how they start up in the first place.

well, caffeine is like a drug,(not that it will kill you like crack or something) in your brain if you drink caffeine every day, your body starts to build up chemicals that give you that good awake feeling, when you do not drink caffeine your body goes throw withdraw symptoms(like if you try to stop drugs but not as bad) and when those chemicals in you brain get low you body who is used to them, starts to hurt and you feel like crap, that is why you get a migraine from not drinking coffee, that is your body telling you, hay you gave me caffeine every day, why did you not today. So how do you make that go away you drink more caffeine, and then those chemicals in your brain build up again, and you feel good again, it is the same way as if you are addicted to drugs, did you ever notice that the more days that you drink coffee the more you need to wake up the next day.
