You are Thinking in the right direction. A Jacuzzi bath would really help relax the muscles. Yogo would be good to help loosen the muscles and help you in the future not experience so much tightness. Both of these are good methods for relaxation of the muscles. Also a good body massage can do wonders for tight muscles.

I alos agree that you are thinking in the correct direction, but if you try that and it does not help much you can try seeing a pain management dr. for some trigger point injections that also loosens up your tight muscles

The classes you mentioned is a great idea! If they dont help you then i would talk to your doctor about some muscle relaxers
