I have an illness that new research indicates may result from abnormally low levels of dopamine in the brain, and I wanted to know if anyone was aware of medications, herbs, etc...known for increasing dopamine levels in the brain.

I woke up yesterday morning around 10am (after getting about 8 hours of sleep) and had an EXCRUCIATING headache...I stayed up for about two hours, ate something (hoping it would help), then took a shower (hoping it would help)...then went back to bed for a couple of hours because the headache just kept getting worse. When I woke up from my nap my headache was SLIGHTLY better, but still hurt a LOT. I stayed up for about another 3 hours or so (most of that spent in a dark room with my head resting on something), I took an advil migraine, an airbornes, drank tons of water and then I went back to bed and slept until 1am today. I drank tons of water, went to the bathroom then went back to bed (AGAIN!!). I woke up again around 6amish....I had to go to work so I got up and got ready...my head didn't hurt too badly right away. When I got to work it started getting a little worse...and now not even 3 hours later my head is just POUNDING again!! It is all over my head, making me nauseous, etc...

I have a heel spur. when i wake up in the morning i cannot properly walk and cannot rest my heel on ground. Gradually after a few minutes it becomes less painful.
I have had a checkup earlier to which the doctor says thats normal and gave me medicine (brufen). he also suggested me some excercise but it doesn't help at all! also gave me a supportive gel to keep in my shoe but all invain!

I am having lower back pain, located very low in my back below my beltline. I need a back brace/support/belt (whatever term you want to use) to wear while I am at work. I do a lot of lifting at work.

I need a recommendation of a very good belt to buy, one that is comfortable and actually decreases the pain. Hopefully one that is available at a major retail chain, I need it today.

Thanks

I have already been through physical therapy, I am now facing the surgery. The problem is, everybody is telling me it will make it worse. I have not heard 1 success story. So, my question is, those of you that have had this problem, what worked for you? I am in constant pain and would appreciate any alternatives.

Every time my neck cracks out I end up with a constant headache which eventually turns into a migraine, and the only way I can stop the pain is to go to the chiropractor. Any suggestions from somebody who knows how to stop the headaches? Thanks.

I had an accident at work I still have headaches and back pain my chiropractor said It s a nerve that Its pinching. One I first went to the workers comp dr she said it was not work related she said It was a seizure and they described like I fainted. I doubted because I had a concusion and I was unconcious but as far as I remember I was loading a heavy box when I fell. They suspended any benefit and I still have pain in my back and horrible headaches I cant sleep like I used to. Its 3 am and I am still awake my lawyer chose an other dr I am going this week I think. I have been fighting and fighting all I want is to be sure I get proper medical care for some time since I dont know If I will have concecuenses in the future and my leg hurts a bit when I move it. what should I do the Emergency room diagnostic is lumbar strains and sprains and head contusion
My neurologist said it was a concusion but I still get horrible headaches and I dont think I have fainted as far as I remember I fell

i am a cheerleader... ((i fly)) and our season is 11 months a year 5-6 times a week so my body takes a beating... but lately my back has been hurting TERRIBLY.

dont get me wrong.. i have had back problems forever.. i have mild scoliosis and back problems do run in my family... so the usual pain i can take...

when i do a scorpian though... the past 3 days... ((this is on one leg and where my left leg goes behind me and bends up so that my hands reach up and behind my head to grab my foot.. in other words... my foot almost touches the back of my head... anyways... i get this hot almost burning feeling in my left side of my back. it gets so painful i actually can barely stand when i come out of the stunt

now my first question is why??.. i have done that many a times and have never felt that feeling before.. i am pretty sure it is muscles because i definetly does not feel like it is the bones...

secondly.. i have been taking motrin and resting.. but what else can i do to help

I've been to a chiropractor and massage therapist for over 3 years, nothing has helped. Who should I see to help my low back pain that keeps getting worse? If I stand too long in the wrong position, I find it hard to move again. When I've been standing too long and go to lay down, I feel like my back is on fire, it hurts so badly. What can I do? I'm a baby about needles, no needles!!

My husband is having a neurotransmitter implanted into his spinal column. I did not go with him to his doctors appointment and he did not ask many questions. I do know that this is done in two stages , first the wires are inserted into the spinal column, and about 10 days later the transmitter is implanted around the hip area. My nephew had this done 6 years ago and had 10 inch incission along his spinal column and a 6 inch incission on his hip. I would think that this method has improved since then. Anyone had one of know of someone that has. Also the doctor did mention that it would be done under general anesthesia as he does not want his patients to move.
