These types of things are very difficult to get rid of if you are not able to stop doing those things that are causing the problem. So, the first thing to do is figure out what activities are aggravating the condition, and stop them or modifying them as much as possible. This usually means changing the ergonomics of your computer or other activities that might be causing the problem.
The other part of the solution is to reduce the inflammation, by taking an anti-inflammatory like Alleve or ibuprofen, icing the wrist when the problems flare up, and gentle stretching exercises when the inflammation subsides. Use braces or wraps to take pressure off the joints when performing activities that aggravate the problem.
You might consider visiting your doctor and seeing if he/she could set you up with an occupational and physical therapist to get you on track. Chiropractors are also good at treating these things.
If the problem is in your hand or wrist, it could be carpal tunnel syndrome.

My daughter has been diagnosed with this. First is to contact your GP who will advise you what to do. Our GP prescribed Feldene Gel which can be bought over the counter, and a wrist support, this helps my daughter.
The only thing is rest, my daughter's has flared up again, after the Xmas break, as she is back to a lot of writing. Being stressed out, also increases the situation. Hope this info will .help. Try to cut down on anything which makes it worse.

go seek treatment via chiropractor, physio. etc. Eliminate the cause of the aggravating factor. If it is a work station thing, perhaps look at improving your biomechanics. If you are holding an instrument which is bothering you, then it may be due to improper grip size. Need more information to be able to help ya further. Vibrational tools can also be a cause of concern. That should give ya a couple of things to think about.
