I take Hydrocodone for back pain. I JUST got my CDL and don't want to lose it. I have researched the heck out of this and have found conflicting answers from the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Association.(FMCSA)
I have a legal prescription, and it doesn't affect me in a bad way. It does help my pain but I am not dizzy or lightheaded at all.
Also, how long does this stay in your system?
Thanks

Okay, so after legitematelly obtaining a prescription of Vicodin from my Doctor after having an infected ingrown toenail removed. My doctor knew the pain would require pain medications. So I took my Vicodin as I should, the dose he gave me. I didn't feel any postivite effects except pain management. Now that I am out of Vicodin, I have cravings for it still. The only help I need is help on getting over the cravings. It's not that I want the drug, because I dont. I just CRAVE it. Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of the cravings. It's like when you reallyy want a chocolate bar, but I reallly want Vicodin now. I have NO history of drug abuse, and like I said I dont WANT Vicodin, I just have a craving!

Please do not answer if you have no knowledge in the medical field. I will be recieving my Medical Degree (I am going to be a phystician) and I will have it in 1 more year of Medical School. I really need advice on dealing with vicodin cravings. Thank you! :)

Okay a little background on myself. I recently was prescribed Vicodin for an ingrown toe-nail removal. I know it seems trivial, but it's REALLY dealing with the pain. My toenail had went into my toe, and came out the other side. The pain was similar to when I got my wisdom teeth removed.

Anyways, after running out of Vicodin, I realized I CRAVED Vicodin, and there was no way I could get it. I don't WANT to do more Vicodin, but I seem to NEED VIcodin to function nowadays. If anyone has ideas on how to get the Vicodin craving out of my life, please help! I have 7 pills left, but my strategy so far has been to have the pills, but excercise my willpower in not taking them anymore even though they're available. Please can someone help me get rid of these cravings!?! I would REALLY appreciate it!

My neck has hurt for almost a week. I thought it was just a temporary pain due to sleeping in a weird position.

However, a terrible headache came on Friday (yesterday) and I've been dealing with it ever since.

I've been taking Tylenol Extra Strength every 4 hours and the pain dissipates for a while but then comes back.

Right now my neck really hurts. I have no problem moving it to the left, but must turn slowly to the right. And I move my neck slowly when I tilt it back or towards my chin.

Is this a migraine? What's going on?

For the last week i have had headaches constantly. sometimes only minor, and barely enough pain to take tylenol, but then an hour later, its pounding, but im not light sensitive, but i do get nauseous. My weird friend says I am turning into a vampire because i cut myself (on accident) the other day and was sucking my blood...anyways
is this something serious, or is it simply normal?

History of lower back pain in the lumbar region after falling 8 feet off an obstacle directly onto my lower back when in the military. Developed minor scoliosis as a result. Anyone know exercises that will specifically work the muscles in the lumbar region of your back that can be done at home? I know of some to do at the gym but it would be nice to have something I can do at home so I can just do them throughout the day.

Until last year, I never got cramps. Then it started and it hurts so much that I really wish I was a guy sometimes. I try Tylenol, lying down, warm compress, exercising a bit, and not eating anything with caffeine. I have heard all these things and try it and the pain is still very great. It's only that one day and I try to deal with it but it's hard. Anyone else have any other ideas?

I'm a 36 y/o, healthy male in decent shape who "threw out" his back (and simulatenously bruised my ego) while playing with my toddler this morning. The spasm was so bad that I was practically imobilized. Advil and Valium helped, as did my electric heating pad, but I was wondering if anyone else had alternative solutions (preferably non-Rx, as I'm not a big fan of Flexoril, Vicodin, etc).

Thanks!

Hello. Yesterday I developed a stinging pain when I take really deep breaths, or stretch the wrong way in my back, near the bottom of my right shoulder blade. It's almost like a stinging pain, and doesn't feel like a mucsle thing. Also, the area seems to have gone numb. I'm 30 yrs old, and in relatively good shape.

Sound like anything to worry about, or should I give it a couple of days to go away?
