I have been smoking for 30 years, but about 2 years ago I began to have chronic daily headaches. I have been through CAT scans, MRI's, physical therapy, pain management, etc., but nothing has stopped the headaches. Just wondering if smoking may be causing them.

Hey everybody, i went to the doctor Friday and he said that I have the classic symptoms of gall bladder problems, and I'm going for an ultrasound on Monday....

let you know what happens....

1/29/07

Ok, so I had the ultrasound done this morning and the tech said she didn't see any gallstones, so what now? she said I may need an upper GI to determine if I have an ulcer or Hiatal hernia......

What is going on here? Any one else experience this?

Like if you put your hand in a bucket of water that is just above freezing point. The pain is pretty immediately felt and I was wondering what effects the water has on the hand to cause the pain.

am having pain in my backside of the head [u can say the joint of skull and the neck]. the first time it was like sudden pain in the back neck area with little dizziness. someone suggested me it can be spondylitis. But when i checked the yahoo answers and othe related medical sites it says the symptoms are pain in the vertebrae or the lower oint of vertibrae and pelvic. Nowhere it is mentioned on the neck area. so am confused. is it spondylitis or anyother disease?

I have suffered from back pain from an injury I got in the Army almost 10 years ago. It flares up every now and then but this is the 3rd day of extreme pain that I haven't had in years. I have never had surgery (don't want it), and never had a shot. How does a shot work? How long does it last?

Two years ago I had Vein Closer in the right leg and just one year ago I had stints put in my heart. What I want to know why am I having so much pain in both legs? When I had the stints put in two days later I developed a clot in the left leg that gave me real bad pain. The doctor took care of it with medication but since then I have had pain in both legs that keep me awake at night sometimes. I would like to know what to do about it, should I tell my doctor or what?

I have damage to my back and hip that i'm told cannot be fixed by surgery. I am waiting for social security have no income, parents helping me. ultracet i'm getting through the ppa program. hydrocodone costs $22 dollars with discount card. The pain is not going away. still intense, when i got to doctors office he gives me shot of demerol and somthing else. It helps but hour and half each way plus waiting room wait, for 5 or 6 hours of relife does not balance.

I am on hydrocodone 5/500 1 four times a day. Also ultracet 1 four times a day. Heat pads and ice packs.

I got massage 2 days ago, and it was a bit rough. However, I thought that the person was professional, so I just went along with it. Right after the massage my spine began to hurt a lot, and the day after it still hurt. Today is the third day, and some pain subsided, but I still feel discomfort in my spine. I'm starting to get worried. I hoppe that the masseuse didn't dislocate my spine or some other bones. Should I just wait this out? What can I do in the meantime to minimize the pain (non-meds wise), and is this something to be worried over or is this typical after getting a rough massage?

I had orthoscopic kinee surgery approximately two weeks ago. Since the surgery I have placed very little pressure on the knee however the pain is not subsiding as quickly as I had hoped. Yesterday, i went to the grocery store at which time I developed a cramp in my ankle. When should I start experiencing relief without the help of pain medication, and when will i sleep like a normal human being again?
