there are a few pressure points that work real good, like on your hand, midway between pointer finger and thumb, 1 inch in on top and bottom at the same time. apply pressure and message in circular motion for about 3 minutes. you can do it yourself but it's better if someone does it for you. How ever the best thing to do is to locate the root of the headache

Whenever a drug study is made, they are required to report everything that the participants complain of. There may be 3,000 people in the final study and only one will have a side effect, another will have a different side effect. I would advise try it once on a day when you can stay home and see how it affects you.

Excedrine Migraine SAYS it will work, but never does for me.
Of all things, Aleeve has been great! Take 2 right when you think you're getting one and drink a Coke. Try to rest (or nap) if you can.
The only other thing I know to do is go through relaxation techniques.... you tense up due to the pain, but it only makes the migraine worse.
In your mind, start focusing on each little part of the body... relax your scalp, your forehead, etc. until you get down to your toes.
I know it sounds stupid, but it really does help.
Also -- if you're a woman and taking birth control, they may be the CAUSE of your migraines. So... you might think about switching.

Sleep. It's an awful thing to suffer from. I personally find relief if I take time off and sleep.
Brain-freeze works for me. As well as the good old ice pack on the forehead.

Avoid what triggers a migraine. That is some foods, drinks and stress. Everytime you eat or drink something and you get one after that, make note of it so to avoid eating or drinking it again. There are so many things i can't eat or drink. Although i can't stop people from wearing strong perfume in public i get one in seconds as soon as i inhale. And i don't want to wear a mask in public. I end up very sick and have to either leave work or go into a dark quite room and sleep it off. But does not always work. Its in the gene's as well. Its the first born mostly that gets them. My mom had them. I get them. My first son gets them. The thing i do instead of prescription drugs is to do something about as soon as i feel one starting. Get away from the noise, get to a dark room and sleep. But that may be hard if at work or stuck outdoors. Some people can't wait til a certain age when they stop. My mom's stop in her late 50's.
Good luck with your answers.

There is no medicine in this world to treat migraine!
Acupuncture is the best treatment for migraine.
one to two drops of drumstick leaves juice in opposite nostrils in one side pain or both nostrils in case of both side pain can relieve you.

I have used presecription drugs in the past, but depending on how bad my migraine is, and if I catch it early enough, sometimes, I can use Excedrine migraine-2 of them- and a sip of coke. I take those, then promptly lay with my feet up on a pillow and my head on only one pillow in a cool dark room and try to take a nap. The darker the room the better! Like I said, if you know your headaches and your body you can usually catch them early enough before they turn into bad migraines and get rid of them with just over the counter stuff and some rest in a dark room!
Avoid trigger foods too. Nuts (yes peanut butter!), chocolate, caffeine containing foods or drinks (but also if you consume a lot of caffeine, and have suddenly not taken any in caffeine withdrawal can cause them), cheese and MSG are a few of the trigger foods commonly consumed! Its hard to modify your diet but as you probably know migraines can be deblitating. Hope you feel better!
