I had a five hour glucose test yesterday, they said my veins are small and they think they pushed the needles through one of my veins and they had to put the needle in eleven times in order to draw my blood six times. My arms hurt pretty bad yesterday however today every once in a while my veins start throbbing, is there any suggestions to make it feel better or could it be a major issue?

I've been on a number of meds to control chronic pain for 13 years. I suffer from chronic migraines, back problems, and fibromyalgia. I am over 30 & still live with my parents. I rarely get out of the house to go to church, spend time with my fiancee, see his children, or even get to the chiropractor as often as I'd like. I have no job, & no income. (I do have insurance, thanks to my parents!) I'm taking a lot of meds, some to counteract side effects from others! I am so very blessed in many ways, but I'm tired of living this way. I'd like to find a dr. I can trust who will hospitalize & monitor me while I come off all meds & go through a complete system cleanse. Following that, I would only agree to restart meds symptom-by-symptom, based solely upon need, & only if I have no other way to treat the symptom. I feel like I have nothing left to lose. I WANT MY LIFE BACK. I'm praying someone with real, sincere, relevant advice will contact me about this. Thank you for reading. God bless!

For the past six years I've had severe right upper quadrant abdominal pain...a surgeon removed my appendix five years ago and it didn't help. Besides the pain I've experienced diarreah, vomiting, nausea and severe gas. I've had three or four ultrasounds of my abdominal area and they all show up as normal. All blood tests show up as normal. My doctor thought it was my gallbladder but the latest scan came back normal. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? I'm getting frustrated with getting no where.

My feet are very sensitive & hurt easily, especially when I stand for 30 min. or more. I can't possibly perform a job because my feet swell up easily. What can I do? I can't perform daily activities because of my feel hurting so much. The Dr. said my arch is OK, but everyone else says my arch may be dropping.

I am having sharp pains in my left side right around my hip bone. They are not constant pains, just occasional. I have had them since Sunday though. I thought they would just go away, but they haven't. Does anyone know what could be causing the pains?

And why would someone choose that, (if relieving pain were not the actual issue with them), over their sex life?

I went to the doctor on Friday because my sides were hurting and they ran tests. He said I had urinary tract infection and prescribed Bactrim, twice a day. Didn't seem too concerned about my kidneys, so I was fine with that. Also had me buy AZO to take for a couple of days so that it would lessen the burning sensation I get when I go to the bathroom, which worked, for a couple days. But now when I go to the bathroom, it's okay at the beginning, but towards the end my toes start curling and I start cringing because of the burning pain. I'm going to call my doctor when they open, but just wanted to see if you guys were familiar with this.

I have a severe disorder in my tmj joint, from the minute i wake up till the minute i go to bed im in sever pain. I have been that way for 3 years now. I have been to every doctor, surgeon, and specialist in my area, with no results. I'm currently taking Vicodin ES for my pain but it doesn't work. I find myself taking large amounts of IBProfin with the vicodin to control my pain but nothing is working anymore. I need a good Pain Management center to help me. I can't even live my life anymore the pain is so bad. If anyone knows of a good doctor to help me out with my med's i would appreciate it. I'm still currently seeking out a solution to this problem i just need this in the mean time so i can continue with my life. I work a fulltime job that i have had for the past 8 years and my pain is staring to affect my job. i need help.

I had a slight upset stomach last night but then this morning things felt a little better. Then after lunch, it has all been downhill. Nothing solid was coming out (sorry for details) and i went honestly about 20 times. I took some pepto this afternoon but that did nothing. Finally tonight i had some chicken soup after i had no stomach aches for 45 minutes, but that promptly went right thru me in 10 minutes. Any suggestions here?

Background - My lower back has been hurting for a little over a week. I went to the doctor to get it checked out, fearing it might be another kidney stone (yeah, I’ve already passed one of those and the pain felt suspiciously familiar). The good news is, I haven’t got a kidney stone. The bad news is that the pain has radiated down into my leg.

Initial searches suggest I’ve either pinched or aggrevated a nerve somehow. Anyway, the doctor’s assistant gave me a call saying the doc wants me to wait a while and call back if it’s still bugging me, but she didn’t know what time frame “a while” meant.

Any clues? Or educated guesses? 2 weeks? 4 weeks?
