Walking is one of the best things you can do, but there are pain-relief options that can make things easier for you. (I have "bad leg days," so I can certainly relate to your frustration.) I take 800 mg. of Aleve and a 1000-mg. flaxseed oil capsule every night at bedtime so that I'll be able to walk the next day, and I take Arnica tablets (a homeopathic herb) as needed for flareups. Check out the links below. I hope you can find relief. Please let us know what works for you.

Yes walking is one of the biggest binds and in the UK you are entitled to a blue disabled badge for the car. Not necessarily for the distance you can walk but what is known as "virtually unable to walk". That means you have two legs and can walk but the effects while you are walking i.e. pain, the likelyhood of falling and the fatigue that follow walking entitle you to both this and DLA. But many people think that because you can walk that you are not entitled. My husband has fibromyalgia and I have chronic pain syndrome. I have found a lot of support from the website below. I hope it helps

I have fibromyalgia too and staying in bed will only make it worse. I would talk to a doctor about the leg problem. I haven't heard of that being associated with fibromyalgia.
