I've been on a number of meds to control chronic pain for 13 years. I suffer from chronic migraines, back problems, and fibromyalgia. I am over 30 & still live with my parents. I rarely get out of the house to go to church, spend time with my fiancee, see his children, or even get to the chiropractor as often as I'd like. I have no job, & no income. (I do have insurance, thanks to my parents!) I'm taking a lot of meds, some to counteract side effects from others! I am so very blessed in many ways, but I'm tired of living this way. I'd like to find a dr. I can trust who will hospitalize & monitor me while I come off all meds & go through a complete system cleanse. Following that, I would only agree to restart meds symptom-by-symptom, based solely upon need, & only if I have no other way to treat the symptom. I feel like I have nothing left to lose. I WANT MY LIFE BACK. I'm praying someone with real, sincere, relevant advice will contact me about this. Thank you for reading. God bless!

Please note: I am not on any heavy pain medications, such as narcotics or anything addictive at all. When I take narcotics, my body rejects them. I get a little pain relief followed by severe body aches, severe nausea, and then vomiting. I appreciate the suggestions to break the habit, but I have none to break. I've cut my med list in half on my own over the past year. I need more help. It's still too long, and I'm still in serious pain. Thanks. :)

bless your heart. it must be really hard on you to change your lifestyle without drugs. take the ones that are needed for your medical condition but no more extras for that high you get from them. dont think you can do it on your own because you will more than likely need help. try the methedone clinic in your area. You may need to consult a doctor for a referal to go to this methedone clinic because it is not listed for public abuse. You will be in my prayers and please kick this habbit
