I'm not overweight; but I don't exercise and don't really eat healthy foods. I was just wondering because if I take a deep breath and it suddenly happens, it kind of feels maybe like a pop in my chest or something; not really, it's kind of non-describable.. It's been happening more and more frequently.

since i was small i've had chronic back pain. i've seen numerous doctors abt it but none of them have concluded what the root cause of the pain is. i've noticed that my back pain leads to left lower limb pain especially on the posterior side of my leg and around the knee area. my backpain increases if i'm studying for an exam or feeling a bit depressed (weird isn't it?). basically every morning i wake up with back pain and after i go to the bathroom (and poop!) my back pain is gone. if i have indigestion, my back hurts. if i feel constipated, back hurts. Sometimes if i drink something cold too fast i "feel" it going down my spine, like a chill! any ideas as to what might me wrong?
and yep, i've seen a LOT of doctors!

hello to all! ´My right arm aches but aches more at night when I´m in bed. Pain involves the whole right arm, pains when i touch cold water, can´t reach brasseure strap so that my left arm has to do the job of closing both straps at the back. I feel heaviness, its not swollen can still work with it except usual strength isn´t the same. Upper muscle of the arm pains. Ate prawns the other night pain woke me up at 3am. Would this be arthritis or tendonitis? Saw my doctor didn´t care much about it just said "could be" tendonitis. I use right hand for work as a cook. Had this discomfort for a long time but worsened when I mashed potatoes for 20 people. Warming arm feels good but water from the faucet makes it painful. Thanks for your opinion.

If I lay on the floor sitting up and stretching my upper body up then down reaching my toes with my toes pointed up? Or if I lay down flat on the floor, bring one leg up to my chest, holding it, then doing the same with the other?

Would stretching help headaches or is stretching just a way to warm up. I know when you yawn or stretch in the morning, your contracting your blood vessels then releasing and the first morning stretch feels so good huh? SO, tell me. would stretching help the blood flow in my darn head....my head hurts so bad and the IBU and TYLenol hasn't helped after taking it over an hour ago.

Honest advise please.

I had surgery on my neck where a clamp was inserted between two of the cervical bones to keep them in place. I also had low back surgery where I had pins and plates installed between two of my lumbar vertabrae. Prior to this, I was on an exercise program, and was steadily losing weight.

Now, I am almost totally immobile; I can walk for only about five minutes at a time. I can no longer even push a vacume cleaner or stand at the sink to wash a dish. As a result, I have ballooned to 345 pounds (I'm only 5'8") and have since suffered a mild stroke.

I have tried water therapy, and this hasn't helped. Can someone please tell me of a low impact exercise program that I can get into to lose this weight? I'm only 49 years old, and I don't want to die! PLEASE HELP!

I assume it increases blood flow, yes. But then, why does that mean the muscles relax? How does it work mechanically?

I have seen several doctors, physical therapist, takin x rays and had many blood test. The pain is in my lower left side around my hip. When you press on it, you cant feel the pain.. but when im walking i can feel it, same when im bent over. It feels like a dull pain, like someone is hammering into my bone. I asked the doctor if it could be arthritus, but they all said no. I cant stand the pain, it comes randomly... but atleast once a month. Its gets so bad to the point where i cant bend over, and if i do, i need help getting up. Im only 19! not overweight and not overly active. Any advice would be a great help!

I'm a naturally tense person and I also suffer from migraines. For the past few months, neck pain has also worked its way in with and in between the migraines. I've been to a general practitioner and a neurologist and all they could give me was some muscle relaxers that don't really do anything (we've already ruled out their being regular tension headaches). I'm scheduled for a CT scan next month, but in the meantime is there any sort of routine/technique that can subside the pain (besides Vikadin and Vikaprofin) before we can get a more accurate diagnosis?

He walks around all day long on a hard floor inside and on a paved parking lot outside. He comes home very worn out and his feet hurt really bad. I have no idea what kinds of shoes would be good for him. Keep in mind they have to be casual dress shoes! Thanks!!
