I'm not a doctor but have experienced what you are describing. I have since discovered that all this pain was brought on from my spine being out of alignment. Think about it, all of our nerves travel through our spine and if it gets out of whack it is going to produce a lot of pain.
I finally was convinced to go to a chiropractor. He took some x-rays of my spine and showed me how far out of alignment I was. Then within minutes he made a small adjustment that reduced the pain by 90%. I continued going to him once to twice a month to get realigned. I am now as straight as I can get and the pain is gone. I go to him about 4 times a year for a little tweaking to keep in alignment.

I've had those before. I agree that aligning your spine might help. I went to the chiropractor for that and the sinus infection before and I felt a 100% better. I also went to a doctor just to be sure that it's not something more serious. Persistent headaches shouldn't be ignored unless a CT confirms it's a migraine or a sinus infection. But even a sinus infection that does not go away can be dangerous.

Have you been to a chiropractor? Sometimes having your spine out of alignment can lead to headache, backache, neckache. Make sure they do xrays first. If they don't then they are blowing in your ear. If there is someting out of whack they can often times put it right. Sometimes it takes several visits especially if you've been experiencing pain for awhile. It's really cool too when they do the spinal manipulations and you feel very relaxed when you leave the office. Many insurance policies provide for some chiropractic coverage...worth checking into. Better than surgery. Otherwise, good drugs help too!

Excedrin migraine works wonders for me. Within minutes of feeling a headache like that, I take one and in about 30 minutes it's gone. Also drink a coke with the medicine. The caffeine helps break down the meds faster.
