It's a central nervous system depressant & pain reliever- hence it will decrease sensitivity in general (good or bad sensations).
if someone is addicted to the medication due to chronic pain, it's not your fault, probably due to the doctor over prescribing the drug or the pain being so bad... if someone is just an addict, then that's another issue, just like someone being an alcoholic- addiction.

Better in what sense? Yes men in general are stronger physically, as far as emotionally, I have met many emotional guys that fight all the time and get offended at the slightest things. Last time I checked it was not girls knocking eachothers teeth out at the bar every night. Women are better critical thinkers, and men are better objective thinkers. You have it all wrong as do most people on here because I have actually been researching this stuff, not just going out on a whim and comparing my small group of girlfriends to a small group of guys, that is dumb and trying to over analyze anything is stupid.

It's caused by reduced sensitivity to stimulation, actually orgasm is still possible just much harder to achieve.

I didn't know that it did I have to take it sometimes for chronic pain and i don't have any problem

all opiates have sexual side effects..the reason they are abused because they are very highly addictive.
