i have doc. told me i have Fibromyalgia and iam in lots of pain my husben been rely good to me he rely under stans the pain iam in he always tells me you are going to get batter lots of times he dose all house cleening so i can rest or go to the jym he been my rock . he make it eazey for me for get that have Fibromyalgia.so to all of you have Fibromyalgia please shoure that your love ones know a bought Fibromyalgia read abought it understand what you going though if they dont understand there always besome who well............

I also have fibromyalgia my Dr's told me 3years ago and my husband has been their for me through every flare that I've had and I have 4 kids a 9 year old 11year old 16 year old and 18 year old my 9,11,and16 year old will help out alot but my16 year old don't understand sometimes she even seems mad at me she'll help out with the house work at times but at other times she'll just say I didn't make the mess so I'm NOT CLEANING! and with my friends they act like they understand but I know they say things behind my back like I'm just a hypochondriac and i take to much medication .When i was hit with this terrible thing called fibromyalgia it turned my life upside down I wasn't able to work anymore I can hardly make it to alot of the schools functions I do force myself to go though.sorry I don't sound to cheerful but I'm going through a bad flare now.I wish you the best of luck!

Hi, not sure what if any meds you are on but I hope maybe my two cents' worth of advice can help. I've been taking 800 mg. of Aleve and a 1000-mg. flaxseed oil capsule every night at bedtime to keep my pain under control, and I take tablets of Arnica, a homeopathic herb, as needed for pain. I've been going through Arnica like crazy the past few days because of a flareup, but it does give me pretty good pain relief in general. My dr. treats me for Fibromyalgia and he is great. he put me on a new medication called Lyrica it works wonders ask your dr. about it
