I warm up and stretch out and also give my self more than enough time to recover after a workout but I have still injured a muscle in almost every muscle group of my body.

i started to taste blood in my mouth the other day i could feel it coming from the back of my throat and when i spit it was all red,

now my throat hurts like hell and i have trouble talking sometimes, i don't have a normal sore throat as the pain completely goes and returns throughout the day so i think i have damaged or cut my throat inside somehow as every few hours i will get the blood back in my mouth.

so will this heal by its self or could it be something worse than just a cut?

please don't just answer with 'go see a doctor' because I am unable to do so for another week at least.

I'd like to know the odds? I shaved myself with an eletric shaver(yea I know it was a bad idea now) only shaved about the penis though I have alot of red bumps and this is the first time I did it for my girlfriend(+ ive always wanted to), what the odds of pus coming out? I certainly dont want alot of pus around that area, its been 3 days and ive only found 1 so far with that.

I fell my my right elbow. My whole arm, including my fingers feel stiff but I can bend slowly but it hurts really bad. Can it just be a bruise? But why is my arm stiff? Do I NEED to go to the emergeny room? Like i said, i could bend a little ... so what can be the problem?

I'm going in for a disectomy and disc fusion operation, my specialist tell me it will take 6 weeks to recover...is this true? Has anyone had this operation? I thought it would take longer to recover. Please help, thanks!

i just popped my knee out of place and then i popped it back into place... that was about 20 minutes ago. now when i walk on that leg, it hurts so bad that i almost fall down... what do i need to do?

I Had a Back operation 12 week ago. I was out for a few days when I came to and sat up just a bit I was shocked that I was in real Diapers!!! . I asked to have them removed and they did However after a problem messing the sheets on the Bed Two Nurses came in with Diapers an put me back in them I asked them not too But they paid no Mind to what I was saying. I found out that the Head nurse left orderes that I stay in diapers for 4 more days. she said if I pull them off That they have ways of straping my arms. is this normal?

a child is standing on a sofa trying to balance on a soccer ball, somehow the child falls on the floor breaking his femur bone. does this seem likely or even possible? the femur bone is the strongest bone in the body. whats your opinion?

Two days ago I got blood drawn at the doctors and when I got home my arm was hurting pretty bad. Is a shooting pain that runs up my arm and it feels like my muscle is really tight. I dont understand what happened and I dont believe its an infection. Did she maybe hit a nerve when she took the blood?

today i was cooking and my hand accidentally touched the 400 degree heating run, where i touched the run my skin had turned white and hurts like crazy. i have put some burn cream on it but i was wondering if there was anything more i could do

It was a bit tender yesterday, but today if i put any weight on it it buckles.

Obviously I'm okay now, but over the summer I pinched my arm between two cases of beer at work. IMMIDIATELY it got a huge goose-egg purple bruise. I think I burst a pretty big blood vessel. Anyway, like I said, I ended up being okay, but I STILL have a mark where it was. The massive bruise took a really long time to go away. Should I have maybe gone to the hospital or at least even the doctor? I saw him a month later and he said it was fine...

was scheduled for back surgery was put under anesthesia dr was ready to make incision when ann=esthesia machine failed and they had to bring me out of anesthesia and surgery was not done. now i have to suffer another month before surgery any rec ourse that i can take this means another month out of work and my finances cant handle that

When I was 16 & a Jr. in H.S.;I broke my ankle during a JV football game.It was a schoolday afternoon.Emergency room determined that I had a spiral fracture of the tibia & said I would need surgery to "shorten it" & put in a thigh high cast.(It scared me when they said shorten it,cause I thought they were going to shorten my leg.)
I had to stay overnight & I was in a room for 2,but I was the only patient.After visiting hours, an intern -looking guy came in & said he was sent there by the office to do a Pre-Op. He closed the curtain around us.He had a clipboard & asked alot of ques. bout the injury.Then started to perform a physical.He did the usual BP;listened to chest,etc.Then he palpated my torso @ the time was in great shape.(couldn't pinch my abs)Then he removed my briefs.& put his finger up my groin & felt around my privates.He had me turn over.THEN came the anal/prostate exam.After he finished,he turned me over.I was erect,he had strange look of triumph.Was I abused?Hosp. SOP?

Back in june i fell down a flight of staires head first...i didnt think anything off my head being hurt because i had seperated my shoulder and thats alll i could think about. but once that healed i began to feel pain in the lower back side of my head on the right side. also i was recently in a car accident wen a car hit me but that was my leg so i dont know if it affected my head. i didnt think it was a big deal. but now sometimes i cant seem to remeber what happend..a day or two ago...or a conversation. and sometimes i have trouble recognizing things like pictures. also if i havnt seend a friend in a few days and all of the sudden they come up it takes a minute or 2 rember them...what might be wrong ..should i see a doctor?

As u have already probably read, I hurt my wrist yesterday from falling down, i told my mom about it, and she said to just put ice on it and would look at it when she got home (shes a nurse, she gets home at 7:30 p.m. and i fell at 6:30 a.m.) so i put ice on it then an ace bandage. when she got home it was already too late to go to the doctors(she didnt want to go out again in the dark) so I went to bed, and woke uyp numerous times from my wrist hurting, and being in unfomfortabe posions(like not having it flat on the bed) when I got up this morning, my wrist was throwbing, and now i can hardly even move it, only my dad is home, my mom all ready left for work,

what do i do???
plz help, and fast too plz

I had a heart cath in September and ended up with a large hematoma that kept me bedridden for a month. It has since been aspirated and is shrinking, but lately I have noticed some soreness around the leg as the hematoma gets smaller. I have been a little more mobile over the last two weeks. It's not excrutiating, just aggrevating. Does this sound normal to anyone out there?

I was cleaning my car lastnite and it was really cold with a windchill facotr of 13 degrees and my body went numb so i didn't feel anything when i woke up yesterday my face and eyelids were swollen really bad some one isad put vasaline on my face and cold rag onmy eyelids is this safe and will it help? please help!!!

At the begining they said Its not work related now I have a lawyer they want to make me an offer what should I do my lawyer is claiming full back and head for my back I have a problem with a nerve in my back lumbar problems and I had a head contusion on the floor I am still under neurologist care should I accept what they say or what do you recomend me?

I went behind my friend and put my arms around her to crack her back, and i did it, her back cracked and then it felt like something cracked in the front!

She dropped to the ground and was holding the center of her chest, like right in between her boobs. where her sternum was, i felt it and it didn't feel broken or out of place. my other friend said that it happened to him a long time ago and it was a muscle or something, he said it hurt alot but he got over it.

i asked her how bad it hurt and she said it hurts to breathe but it's bearable. she now has a hard time walking, or so it seems. and she is in pain when she gets up or moves around. i made her lie down on the bed so she doesn't move.

she said she'll be alright, but i'm just worried and curious as to what happened,

can anybody help out? do you know anything what so ever about it? any ideas?

This pain started only this midday and is only in the last (top) joint of my left index finger. The base of my thumb joint is swollen with a small knot, but it doesn't hurt there. The finger is somewhat stiff and it hurts to type with it, and it aches when I straighten it. Is this an acute arthritic episode (my joints ache sometimes but the character of this ache is different, almost like the finger was smashed but I know it wasn't)? I punch a heavy bag and use weight machines, but I experienced no pain until today, two days after my last workout. I strike the bag with the index and middle knuckles, but I have seen no bruising at all there, nor do those areas hurt. There is a slight dark area in the web between thumb and index finger. Another exercise that I don't believe plays a part is swimming, wherein I use the hands to pull myself along in the water. I suppose it is possible I injured myself and didn't realize it, but wondered if it could be arthritis of a sort I've never had.

Ok... so I hurt my foot in the summer and I went to the Dr. and he x-rayed it and said that I had a stress fracture. He put me in a walking cast for 3 weeks and rest and then on and off for the 3 weeks after that. It has now been months and I'm still in pain. It is pain in my heel but if I hold my foot a certain way it hurts even more. It hurts mostly if I've been on it alot or in the mornings. I wait tables and I have to be on my feet alot. I 've tried insoles and shoes and no matter what it hurts. And it hurts alot, as much as it did when i was first diagnosed. Was I miss diagonesd? Or am I not healed yet? Please someone help me. Is there a exercise I can do that will help this?
