Ok... so I hurt my foot in the summer and I went to the Dr. and he x-rayed it and said that I had a stress fracture. He put me in a walking cast for 3 weeks and rest and then on and off for the 3 weeks after that. It has now been months and I'm still in pain. It is pain in my heel but if I hold my foot a certain way it hurts even more. It hurts mostly if I've been on it alot or in the mornings. I wait tables and I have to be on my feet alot. I 've tried insoles and shoes and no matter what it hurts. And it hurts alot, as much as it did when i was first diagnosed. Was I miss diagonesd? Or am I not healed yet? Please someone help me. Is there a exercise I can do that will help this?

Go back to the doctor and tell him you are still in pain. If he won't help you see another orthopedic surgeon.

Sounds like something is still fractured in there, you should go back, you probably need a non-weight bearing cast. Does it hurt when you bend it up or down?

Sorry to tell you, but broken feet never stop hurting. The pain will lessen, but it will never go away completely. Weather, certain movements, bumping them, etc. will bring the pain screaming right back.

Just take ibuprofin for when it gets bad.
