Obviously I'm okay now, but over the summer I pinched my arm between two cases of beer at work. IMMIDIATELY it got a huge goose-egg purple bruise. I think I burst a pretty big blood vessel. Anyway, like I said, I ended up being okay, but I STILL have a mark where it was. The massive bruise took a really long time to go away. Should I have maybe gone to the hospital or at least even the doctor? I saw him a month later and he said it was fine...

I would have gone just to make sure I didn't damage any tissue or nerves, but if the doc said you were fine a month later, I'm sure you are fine then

the hospital,no but maybe you should have gone to your own doctor...since it was at work your employer should have had you see a doctor...hospitals are for emergencies, not to waste time and space.although had your arm been cut, there was an issue of a break or bleeding then yes a trip to the er would have been appropriate

Its a moot point now... in the future, I would go get something like this checked out by a doc. Sometimes you can fracture and bone with this type of injury.
