i have gallstones. i now have pain on my right side around my rib cage & it goes to my back.

I`m very active. i play basketball, volleyball & i dance. my knee is kinda ment to be in pain. anyways, i went to the doctor because i was getting this pain in my left knee & it was all swollen. she said that my tendents overstreched & it caused inflammation to my bone & muscle. & it only happens when i jump. or when im active. she said it's most likely going to be on & off for the next year. so it stopped hurting for a month. now it started hurting again. i dance everyday & play basketball everyday. & i ice it regurarely. but it still hurts. what can i do to make it feel better?
im a girl btw, if that helps. & im not old. im 13

I went to bed on saturday night... i had no problems with my toe and then sunday morning i woke up and my big toe was killing me. The pain was coming fromthe side of my nail, i don't know how to explain it,but if i just touch it lightly, it hurts soooo bad... i tried to stand up on it but it hurt very bad so i was limping the whole day. I figred it was going to go away, but instead the next day(today) it's red,swollen and very hot. and hurts worse. i can feel it getting hotter. i don't feel good at all right now. It's actually like numb right now. PLEASE HELP!

I never thoroughly clean my contact lens case. So I kind of feel like there is bacteria growing in it and its getting in my eye because lately I've noticed some discomfort while wearing my lenses. I heard somewhere that you can boil contact lens cases to clean them well. Is this true? If not, can you please tell me a good way to thoroughly deep clean my contact lens case? Please answer this. Thank you.

Starts from left pelvic region down to inner thighs and down upto the center of my feet. Only in the left leg. I take pain killers but they are temporary reliefs and the pain resurfaces. I have also observed that due to this i have burning in urine for which i use carnberry juice. Does any one know the reason or cause for this?? anybody have the similar pain, if so what your doctor adviced? what are the remedies? I hope it doesnt turn out to be a major problem for me in the future. I dont have medical insurance hence have not seen any doctor.

I have a good friend with no insurance who won't go to the doctor, and I was wondering if anyone had input or a site where I could find input for her? Yes, I realize she should go to the doctor, but you can't make someone do something, so this was what I could offer. Any help would be much appreciated.

i thought the answer would be common, but i can't seem to find it in any articles on the internet. so, just out of pure curiosity, how DOES eyesight go bad? like, im pretty sure there's something that has to do with sitting too close to the tv or whatever, but what really happens? do the muscles get worn out or something? and is there no way to completely fix your eye without lasik/glasses/contacts? im just curious, since i knew i had 20/20 vision in the 5th grade but 4 years later...it's just reallly bad.

I am having the EMG test for carpal tunnel in one hand and wrist. Does this hurt? I am fine with needles but the electrical shocks do not sould too spiffy. Has anyone had this done in their hand? On a scale of 1-10 (7 being a bee sting) how bad does this test hurt? I thought it was a Nerve conduction test but they said EMG. A friend of mine said it was a ----.

I pick up my RX tomorrow AM, hence the urgency on this; I need to let the drugstore know my preference! 500 mg. is the pill dosage. The pharmacist was very vague when I asked; he said "Oh, the brand (non-generic) is about twice as strong". That just doesn't sound right to me. Your help is urgently needed and my thanks in advance!

It seems like weed is the least harmful of drugs and almost EVERYONE i know and around me smoke pot and i just feel left out..im in high school and i feel like im wasting my time not having much fun or funny weed stories to tell while everyone else does also i thought a little bit of it would help me not be so depressed over some recent events that happened to me.....all ive heard is that it makes u lazy....i have done it before and i didnt get hooked....if i do it then it will be probly like once a week...

The whole day yesturday I had a lingering headache then around 8/9/10PM it hit me really bad and I knew I had a migrane. When I tried to lay down and sleep it was absoltuely horrible it hurt so bad I can't even explain it then I started throwing up from 10PM-5:30AM every 5-10 minutes I would throw up. I never get migranes ever! So i'm not sure why this happened. If i get this again can anyone give me advice what i can do to stop the vomiting and pain??

I have tried everything. I have taken sudafed, tylenol, used vicks vapor rub, and used throat drops. It's getting to the point where I can't take it anymore. I just started going back to school at night and working during the day. I can't hault my schedule for this cold but I feel bad going to work and class with it. I took one day out of work to rest thinking that would help but it didn't. Also, my mom gave the cold to me but she didn't have it as bad. Now she still has a little bit of a cold. I am all stuffed up and it's gross cause I just coughed and it was one of those coughs where you can tell that someone has a lot of flem.

Please help me!!!

I been having serious head aches/migraines so sometimes now..YEARS, it has been getting a lot worse! The right side of my head hurts all the way down to my neck. This stabbing head pain that rings and rings! It's getting too bad to where I cannot sleep. I literally have to fold my fist to sleep on it so it can press on my head so it feel a little better and Tylenol,aleve medications are no longer helping. I'm only 22yrs. old and I've had serious head aches for a while now. I know my liver must be bad..because its normal for me to take about 10 pills a day for pain. The medications don't last even though they would say 8 hrs.

My best friend suggested an MRI scan. Never heard of it or know anything of it. How much does this cost without insurance? Anybody know anything about MRI scan for brain?thanks
