When I get home from work at the garden centre where I work two days a week, my feet are so sore I can barely walk. Once I sit down I find it very hard to get up again and have to limp for a few minutes then they ease slightly. They throb and ache for hours. I have tried various kinds of shoes, walking boots and trainers and never wear cheap shoes. The rest of the week isn't too bad. I'm not lazy and don't sit that much, perhaps a couple of hours throughout the whole day.

I work 3rd shift. Last night we unloaded a truck. I felt fine. I came home and went to bed. As I was getting ready for bed my chest/esophagus started feeling uncompfortable. Like I needed to burp, maybe. I went to sleep and then woke up with pain (not severe make you cry pain-though close). I drank a coke as quickly as I could and tried to burp. I only burped a little. I went back to sleep and woke up maybe 15 minutes later. I was hurting again only now (sorry if to graphic) my left breast hurt all the way to the nipple. I went to sleep and woke up like this 2 other times. I finally just got out of bed. I have to work tonight and I really need some sleep. Now my chest is still uncompfortable. If feel like there is a lump in my chest now when I swallow. And if I try to burp (or do burp) it hurts. This has been going on for almost 6 hours now so I don't figure it is anything to serious. If you have experienced this, how do I get it to stop?

I pulled a tendon in my knee about a week ago and it hasn't felt any better. It keeps swelling and hurts when I bend it. I've tried going jogging but thata hurts and I really want to start running again because I have to stay in shape for cross country and I want to be able to workout. So if anyone has any ideas please tell me because its really starting to bother me. Thanks to everyone who answered.

It has been about two weeks since I had the cortisone shot. I now have a sharp pain (burning) in the knee just below where the shot was injected in my knee. I wear a knee brace to alleviate the pain while walking. Is there anything I can do for the pain besides go back to the doctor?

I have terrible carpol tunnel and ulnar tunnel syndrome (from what I have been told by one sport doctor and what I've read). Alot of typing or physical tasks will make the last three fingers of my hand fall asleep.

Also, if I'm on the phone or bend my elbows for over a minute or two, my whole arm falls asleep.

I've done the exercises that the sports doctor told me to do, with no help, and even wear braces..

I'm wondering, despite the discomfort of swollen arms and hands, the numbness in the morning, and the terrible weakness (not being able to hold onto a coffee mug without support from both hands *mainly in the morning*) - will it hurt my arms in the long run?

I'm 25 and I think I'm getting a wisdom tooth. It's horribly painful. It's even hard to eat. When I reach way back, I can feel something hard beginning to protrude from the gums, but it feels like it's coming forward instead of straight down. Is it just painful because it's coming through the gums? Will the pain go away once the tooth comes all the way in? In the meantime, what would you suggest I do to ease the pain?

The pain is very severe and throbbing it also feels like its my skull, from all the pain my eye lids begin to close to try to relieve it. Which becomes very dangerous especially while driving!! I thought it might be lack of sleep however, thats not the case. I 'm also a migraine patient however, I'll get these pains behind my eyes but I wont have a migraine and now these pains will cause my migraines to come. I took an eye exam and my vision is perfect, I'm really starting to worry if this is something serious. Any advice?

Yesterday morning I noticed my leg had been hurting around my knee area as I got up and moved around the pain sort of went away but I noticed I had pain in my lower back on both sides that also went away but the pain seemed to of moved forward into my pelvic area on both sides. As the day went on the pain was just on the right side in the pelvic area and in my leg but it was above my knee, it doesnt really hurt to touch it but it hurts moving around, twisting, bending, getting up and down off the chair etc. I just wanted to know what it could be and how long I should expect it to hurt?

My mom has been having lower back problems lately. She's had this problem for almost a month, and the pain seems to only be happening during the night, before going to bed. Usually there's some stomche pain of some sort too, but not always. She even bought a new mattress, but obviously that hasnt helped much. My mother is in her late 40's. Could this back pain be something more than just back pain?

my mom gets this horrible tingling in her hand. and her hand is always cold. she tells me that her hand tingles 24/7 like it would if it was asleep. and she gets very bad pain in her back particuarly in between her shoulder blades. should she go to the docter? could a docter do anything?

i just thought it was a pinched nerve but her hand has been like this for a month and shje says not once did it stop and her hand is always cold. i massage her back and inbetween her shoulder blades but she says that only helps for a little bit making her hand become a little warm but the tingling just never stops. what should i do?
