I've been having pains at the base of my spine and to the right of the bottom of my back. I went to the doc and he did some tests (one where I had to pull both hands whilst he hit my knee) and he told me my back was weak. He told me to do some back strengthening exercises (which I've forgotten how to do) and come back in a month.
Right now it hurts. A few months back, whilst lying down, I had really sharp pains there, unbearable. Then it went away. Could it be that I was doing situps wrong? In PE, the teacher said that you only have to go up to 45 degree, if you go past 90, then your back starts working.
