I pulled a tendon in my knee about a week ago and it hasn't felt any better. It keeps swelling and hurts when I bend it. I've tried going jogging but thata hurts and I really want to start running again because I have to stay in shape for cross country and I want to be able to workout. So if anyone has any ideas please tell me because its really starting to bother me. Thanks to everyone who answered.

Tendons need REST. Tendons take more time To heal then A broken bone. if you keep using if you're going to cause serious damage. You need to see an orthopedic doctor as soon as possible. This Needs proper medical attention.

You're going to need physical therapy under a doctor's supervision to get back the use of the tendon. the only possible exercise you could do would be swimming. And at this point even that is pushing it without medical treatment.
