I have a bad back pain from sleeping funny how do i get it to go away i am trying a heating pad

you're going to have to train your self to sleep on your back. Sleeping on your back is the only way your spine is in correct alignment. It takes time to train yourself, but it can be done. I had to do it.

Place an ice pack on your back for ten minutes At a time. you can alternate with heat for fifteen minutes. Do this several times a day. Advil soft gel capsules will help with the pain, take them four times daily.

Don't use a heating pad on it. Dry heat pulls moisture from the area and will make it stiff when you take it off. Take a hot shower or use a hot damp towel for about 10 minutes then stretch the injured area easily for about 5-7 minutes in every direction you can and then use another hot towel for 10 minutes. You can repeat this as much as needed. Be careeful with the stretching though remember, easy.
