I am unsure how to ask this question. I took a shower before bed last night. after my shower I layed down, about 30 minutes later I got up again to go to the rest room and felt an uncomfortable pain in my back. I assumed that it was because I layed on my back which is not the position I am used to sleeping in. I went back to bed. As the night progressed the pain got worse and I found it difficult to even roll over. It hurt too bad. In the morning the pain had not gotten any better and I had difficulty geting out of bed. I was unable to stand up straight and it hurt to breathe. I have not done anything strenous nor have I lifted anything heavy. About 1 1/2 hours after I got out of bed the pain subsided. The pain is still there but not as bad as it was through out the night. It is actually tolerable. I am going to go to the doctor but I would like to know if anyone has ever experienced this and what could have cause it. Like I said I have not done anything strenous. Please Help. Thanks

I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and the surgeon perscribed me Vicodine for the pain. Well last night, it kept me up all night. It was very frustrating. Especially because it says on the lable that Vicodine causes drowsiness.

Can a human punch in the upper thoracic backbone which causes a bruise can stunt growth? Can a human punch in the upper thoracic backbone which causes a bruise misalign a vertebra? How do you know u have a misaligned vertebra? Can u recover from one? Are the vertebrae bones as strong as any bone in the body? what is the chance of misaligning a vertebrae with a human punch? How hard does the punch or hit needs to be in order to misalign the vertebrae (any examples)? would it hurt, would u feel anything different if u had a misaligned vertebrae? any suggestions? any experience?

I have pulled a muscle on Monday (the muscle that runs from the top of my knee along the top of my theigh).

I have a fitness test on Sunday for my job that I only get one chance at - so i need my leg to be right by then. Does anyone know how I can get it to heal by then (I don't mind a quick fix, I don't care how much pain it gives me after the fitness test, I just have to pass the test which goes for about an hour).

Someone mentioned Physio or a Quaterzone injection - does anyone know about either of these two options - which would work best etc?

I have pain in my left wrist & have had steroid injections (my boss is an anesthesiologist, he does this in the office) etc. Went to hand specialist, who ordered MRI. My boss (anesthesiologist) says that the MRI is normal and there is nothing wrong with my wrist. I looked at the reading myself, and it said something about "DISI", and that clinical correlation is recommended. Do I go back to the ortho, or stop wasting my time and just live with the pain? I don't want to be a sissy, but I think I kind of am.

I used to run 2.5 miles on my lunch break and I miss it so much. Any idea how long before I'll be able to pick it up again? I had my clavicle repaired on 4-23-07.

Today we had a blood donation at my school, and I decided to do my part and donate. I passed all the tests, and wasn't nervous at all. I got hooked up, and she told me to tell her if I felt hot or dizzy. 20 seconds into it I got really hot and dizzy and tried to say something but she didn't hear me and I passed out. I was woken up and finished donating, and then I got up and walked and passed out again. It really sucked. Its now been 5 hours, 3 bottles of water, and a pizza dinner later, and I still feel lightheaded and have a headache when I try to read. Why is this? Also, why did I pass out? I'm a male, 6'1", and weigh 135 (so I'm pretty thin). Is that the reason? Finally, if I give blood in the future, will I pass out again?

hi, i just had bunion surgery performed 5 weeks ago and my feet look almost exactly the same as they did before the surgery. my toe still turns towards my other toes (and under the first toe) and it looks like there is a bulge where the bunion was. is the bulge part of the healing process and will it go away?

I've been feeling an extreme pain in the lower elbow region of my arm, which has also reduced my ability to move the arm because it seems as if the muscles aren't as flexible as normal.
Any thoughts on what best might treat this?

A friend of mine woke up with a splitting migraine 6 years and it has never completely gone away!!! Sometimes the pain lets up a little but never completely. He has been examined by numerous neurologists and specialists in facilities all over the US but no real, lasting remedy has been found. But he is a real trooper!! He works full time to support his young family but lately the headaches have become unbearable and have not subsided at all. Anyone know ANYTHING about this or know ANYONE with similar condition? He is desperate and I am desperate to help him!!! Any suggestions?... HELP!!!

How can I tell if it's badly injured? I can still move everything, but it hurts. A 180 lb man just landed on it as we were high bouncing on the trampoline. Anyway, it feels like it's burning... I just want some kind of way to know if I need an xray before I go.

Can the problem of slight diffrence of length (or height) in legs can be corrected by using some appratus ? Is there anything available in the market that can be used for correcting the height (or length) of legs? I mean the diffrence of length between the two legs in one or two inches. Or is there anything available that can be put under the shoes so that the length can be corrected and thus to make the walking comfortable.
