Yes, There are germs every where. Just think about it this way your at a restraunt you see a man go to the bathroom. When he comes out he goese to the salad bar and gets his food. you go behind him and get your food. you did not know he dident wash his hands. would you still want to eat that tasty salad. The germs on the handle to flush on the door everywhere can get you sick and transmit to your family. I sure hope this changes your mind the next time you think about not washing you hands. germs and sterility are my job.

Yes you still need to wash your hands for the following reasons.
1. The handle to flush the toilet is covered with germs, bacteria, and possibly fecal matter. This is particulary true in public restrooms.
2. When you flush the toilet or urinal, bacteria is spread throughout the immediate surrounding areas.
3. It's kind of gross not to and it only takes a couple of seconds.

Pee is sterile. It makes more sense to wash your hands before you urinate to rid yourself of the germs you have picked up before you got to the bathroom. Wash them after if you touch door knobs or the flush handle. Use a papertowel to open the door when you leave.

Well think about the people who DO get pee on their hands, then they touch the stall knob, then the sink, then the door handles, etc. So its not just YOUR pee you have to worry about ... entire bathrooms are filled w/ germs. Washing your hands is the best bet!

you go in the stall, touch the door and the lock, touch the flusher and you touch the door on the way in and out. Now there are people who decide not to wash even if they did peepee on their hands and they get their peepee all over everything you are about to touch.
Are you sure you dont want to wash?
