just yesterday, i was repairing a CD player, and my arm touched against the outer case of the player, and i think that slight electricity current passed through me, i quickly took my arm away, and saw red patch on my skin and suddenly blood flow out. the size of the wound is a needle-poke size. is it possible for the same size to be so small? and can slight electricity cause my skin to bleed as said in my incident?

I am 30, and i have had this problem since childhood where my leg bones seem to ache - not the muscles.
I usually get for 1-2 days at a time at unpredictable times - maybe twice in one week, maybe not for months at a time!

I cannot find any reason why - they sometimes ache after exercise, but not other times, and sometimes after no exercise at all.
Then i thought it was dehydration - but ruled that out too
I thought it may have been cold weather - but they ache in the summer aswell.

Can anyone help? My GP can't.

I took meth/coke back on Friday night, went into ER yesterday because of non-stop rapid heart beat, but now my heart just feels kinda sore and heavy. It didn't used to feel like this before, but it does now. I also notice my heart continuing to beat rapid and not like it normally would. What is this pain I have in my heart? Is it heartburn caused by something else, like alcohol, which I also drank. Is it normal to have this pain? Anyone out there who has experienced this, please share your information. Is it my arteries? Something flowing too fast, in the need of something? It's like a tightening feeling.

Broke calcaneus bone in heel of right foot 4 years ago. Fracture was found 1 year later. Bone healed out of place. Now causes lots of pain. Have tried many different ways to ease the pain. Dr's say surgery is final option. They want to fuse the bones in right foot in 3 different places. they claim this will give me 20% improvement of pain. Not sure this is enough to warrent surgery. Any thoughts?

I was at work last night & the machine I was running jammed up, I had to pull on the plastic film very hard to get the jam away from the cutter knife, I was concentrating very hard on getting it done quickly to get the machine going again. I remember during all the pulling & yanking that at one point I know I hurt my finger but went on doing what I was doing & got it unjammed. Later I realized It really hurt although I could bend my finger at the knuckle. Tonight it is still really sore & swollen a little & red(it hurts under my fingernail but not my fingernail, and also right above the last knuckle next to my middle finger & now my knuckle if very stiff & sore when I try to bend it.

No, I didn't have coffee, tea, soda, chocolate, or anything that contains caffeine past 2:30 pm. I even finished all the work required for the next day. I didn't take a bath or exercise close to bedtime. Despite my feeling of complete and extreme exhaustion, I feel that my heart is beating very fast and I just can't fall sleep. It happens every night. Is it possible to be too tired to sleep?

One year ago I went to the doctor because I had a serious thirst problem. I took a blood test and everything came back negative except my cholesterol was a little high. It was 206? This past month I still feel a discomfort in my jaw. It feels like pressure. It might be my wisdom teeth. I'm not sure.

Anyway, I've also been feeling this feeling in my chest. It feels like pressure and pain. When I feel very sad, I feel it even more. I haven't been able to sleep a normal schedule for over a month now. Sometimes I get 2 hours of sleep at night. Sometimes 3. Sometimes 5. I sleep during the day as well. Last night I came home after being verbally abused by my girlfreind. I took a really hot shower to relax. When I got into bed, my heart was beating extremely fast and wouldn't slow down for about 20 minutes. i can hear it beating in my head. What's wrong with me? Am I gonna get a heart attack at the age of 26? Or am I severely depressed? Or both?HELP

I am 20 years old and am searching for a comfortable type of contact lenses. I have an astigmatism in one eye, and have suffered corneal damage in the other (from what I would really like to know, I wore contacts only about once a month). I have tried so so so many different kinds of contacts, all of them turned uncomfortable after a short period of time and sometimes I can't focus well with them. Is there a certain type/brand I should try that might actually work for my eyes?? Has anyone else had this problem??? Oh and my eyes are very senstive. Thanks.

I have to scrape my lips two or three times a day to remove this layer of gunk. I usually wipe it on the underside of my shirt, because I've noticed that when it dries it looks like dried up skin. How is this happening and what can I do to prevent it or control it?

I think it's gross when I try to drink from a glass and leave my lip gunk on the rim of the glass, especially on a date.

It is hard for a person who has chronic pain to find transportation that does not inflect more pain. I use an electric wheelchair and that makes transportation extremely difficult. Two of the transportation services here are so bumpy that my body is in so much pain by the time I get to the doctor I am in tears. The third transportation has denied me for unjust reasons. My question is, would a shrink think that I just did not want help if I refused to use the transportation that is availbale? Ouch.
