Your bf should look into getting a mouth-piece to help with that snoring! Best to attack the source of the problem, eh? That would be the obnoxious vibrations in your bf's throat!
Ear plugs usually work for me when trying to block out the train outside my window. They make pretty comfortable ones now that stay in all night.
If I were you, I would force myself to sleep by not sleeping in till noon, even if I didn't fall asleep that night. Force youself to get up at a normal time, say 8-ish. After a couple nights, you will be very tired and sleep despite Mr. Piggy's breathing troubles. You'll probably end up sleeping ok after a bit of training.
If that doesn't work, you could a) throw something at your bf to get him to shut up, b) sleep in separate rooms, c) give him a taste of his own medicine by out-snoring him! (Go girl!), and if all else fails, you could d) smother him with a pillow!
Best of luck!

Buy him some of those nose bands. The little plastic ones you place on the outside of the nose that open passages. They have some specifically for snoring. There's also an oral spray mist that assists in snore-stopping. People can be cured of snoring with a trip to the doctor many times.

Try to get him to let you fall asleep first. But most ppl deny that they snore so I would suggest earplugs. I strongly suggest that you stay away from sleeping aides. If none of this helps, find a different bf or wait until marriage before sleeping with someone that could be a potential snorer.

Try taking a warm, relaxing bath accompanied by light music and candles. This works wonders for me.
