That's most likely just an inflamed lymph node. (You have one in your armpits, below the jaw, and some places I forgot.) You probably have a cold or something, or about to come down with it. If it persists for a long time, go to your doctor.

Lumps in the armpit have various causes. Cysts and infections on the surface of the skin of the armpit may be caused by shaving or use of antiperspirants (as opposed to deodorants). This occurs most frequently in adolescents just beginning to shave. Abscesses under the skin may also produce large, painful lumps in the armpit.
could just be a hair follicle that has gotten infected.
A forum discussing this very thing. I found it interesting.

This could be anything from a swollen lymph node to a cyst (these two are not big problems) to cancer (which of course is a problem). Try to stop squeezing it. If it does not go away on it's own within a few days to a week, you want to have it examined by a doctor.

Whenever you have trouble breathing you should see a doctor, that makes it serious. With both lymph nodes swollen it could be an infection. A doctor should be able to fix you up quickly. See a doctor though!

Going to the clinic would be better than dying. Anyway its probably nothing but its best to get these things checked out early. If it is bad they can start treating it,and if its nothing you will sleep better at nights.

It can be an ingrown hair. it can be unprocessed jello. Get it checked if it is there still after five days. Better safe than sorry!
