It all depends on the person and your bodies reaction to the sting. But I would say yes.

The sting of the bee is barbed - so when the bee leaves, the stinger remains in the flesh. If you do not pull it out, it will itch and can become infected.

Once it is out, wash it down with a little alcohol to be sure there is no infection. Should be fine.

If it's any consolation - in stinging you, the bee died, because when that stinger ripped out, it killed him

mine always have been but it jsut goes away after a day or two for me. as long as it is only a bearable itch, put a little lotion on it and just wait for it to go away. you just have to watch for other signs to make sure you don't develop an allergy or something
