Are you wearing rings on that finger? Maybe you have a blood circulation problem.

Try ice. The cold redudes swelling.
If that doesn't work, try heat.

If nothing works -- go to a doctor.
Can't see a doctor?
Go to walgreens and see a pharmicist perhaps. Just ask them what they think. They don't charge. Just be polite.

If it is the finger on your right hand and you are working a lot on the computer you could have a touch of tendinitis, or a touch of arthritis. Is there any pain with it? You need to be drinking at least 8 ounces of filtered water a day, as we are about 85% water so you probably are dehydrated. That is why most of the time people have arthritus, and painful joints because of dehydration.

It could be many things, like poor circulation, increased sodium (Salt) intake, it could be inflamed, it could be infected, I'd go see your doctor to rule out anything serious.

Good luck! :)

ell,

Depending on your age, and/or the conditions you've been living under, it may be a sign of osteoarthritis (OA).

I'd see a doc about it.
