I asked the pharamicist today about taking Tylenol with Naproxen and was advised againist. She suggested using the ThermaCare wrap instead. They don't have designed specifically for you ankle though so I tried using the one for your wrist/shoulder/back instead. The problem is they don't seem to work. The heat is not coming through, and I don't know if it's because of the weather (it's around 0 right now) or what. I know in the past I've used IcyHot and it worked well with easing the pain in my muscles/joints but its also very apparent when I use it because of the smell.
Does anyone know if there's anything that will penetrate the heat into the joint the way IcyHot does but doesn't smell to kingdom come?
I've tried Bengay in the past but it doesn't help. I know it probably sounds weird but the stinging sensatition associated with IcyHot really does help ease the pain I just don't want everyone at work to know that I put it on.

i have been to the doctor on and off for the past five months, he seems to keep saying nothing is wrong with me. I have had ultrasounds of my kidneys and abdominal, and blood work done. All that showed up was slighly low platelets 127000 and a moderately enlarged spleen. My doctor said not to worry about the spleen. However i have had bad back pain for no reason on and off, and my groin looks like inflated but i dont feel any lumps and im scared that it could be a lyphoma or something. Can someone please help, im starting to become a hypocrondraic.

I work out 1 1/2 hours per day. Treadmill, and swimming. That is the only temporary relief I get.

For a little while today, maybe a few hours my pinkie of my left hand has been kind of tingly for some reason and i dont know why. Any ideas? Its not completly numb, but it just feels tingly.

I dont think its a big deal but i just want to figure it out. I recently had surgery that left me off of my feet for a few weeks, and now my lower leg hurts deep in the muscle. When i lay down sometimes it hurts so bad i cant even stand it. When it starts to hurt sometimes my foot goes numb, not for very long though. Its like a dull throbbing feeling down in the muscle. Also, sometimes my knee hurts to. It doesnt always happen when im laying down, sometimes when im up on my feet at work it hurts so bad i feel like i'm gonna fall down. Any ideas???

My wife was on Endocet 10/325 MG Tablet. For a refill, she was given Oxycodone w/ APAP 5/325 Tablet (Generic for Percocet).

Could you tell me the difference between these? Is one stronger than another?

My girlfriend was stabed in her knee when she was a lil girl, from some accident of hers, she has a lot of problems latly from it swalling up and it hurts really bad to her, she takes pills and stuff for it but they are all over the counter and I don't want her to take to many, I really care for her and wish I could help her by taking her to a doctor but her family can't afford to take her to the doctors and me being in college most deffenently can't. does anyone know of some ways to make it not swell as much and to dual the pain somewhat to where she don't need to take pills?

I'm not sure if my contact is in my eye or not, I've been trying to take it out but it just hurts, and I can't get it out. ok i hurt my thumb 6 days ago and right when it happened it turned green and bruised right away and it became swollen. i iced it and a few days later the swelling went away. i just figured i jammed it but now 6 days later it is still bruised all different colors. i can still move it and bend it andeverything but if you touch it in a certain place it hurts really bad. could it be fractured or even broken or what?

I'm a figure skater who did the wrong thing after I got a fishing injury..casting. while sleeping, I get woken from pain like electricity that's under the skin as if a sheet is drug and laying on my legs. It started in only my thighs now goes down to underneath my feet. I have no desire to move my legs. Anyone else with this? My doctor didn't think it was anything - help!?!

How severe can an injury be before I need to go to the hospital? I don't want to deal with bills, and stitches because I don't have insurance. I have a fairly deep gash from being stupid outside, and I've cleaned it and bandaged it up so far...it happened yesterday.

It's not bleeding anymore but sort of oozing. Do you really think I need to see a doctor for this?

Lately I have been experiencing knee pain on the inner and outer sides of the knee cap. mainly with walking or running and sometimes with a crunching sensation, Also i have had elbow soreness and i have to jolt my elbow and crack it to straighten it on occasion. Also have some wrist and ankle soreness. i have played football for many years. i'm not sure if all these are related to each other.... PLEASE HELP!
