i have this blister on my heel from wearing new shoes, but it looks more like a cut. Its about 3cm long and 1cm wide and its really quite painful. Is there anything i can do to get it to heal quickly???

first throw out the shoes, they do not fit you properly. It sounds like it is a pressure sore. clean it with soap and h20, pat dry, and apply neosporin with lidocaine(its a numbing agent to cut down on the pain), then cover it with a band aide. If air is irritating it cover it with duoderm, that is a spongy dressing that you can get at a medical supply store, I don't think walmart or Walgreen's carry that type of thing. Anyway, it stays on for 3 to 5 days, that should be long enough for it to have healed the outer skin.

I dont think there is anything to make it heal quickly but if you frequently get blisters you should keep some Second Skin on hand. It is a gel like "bandage" to put over blisters. It really helps ease the discomfort blisters can cause.

You should put a little Neosphorn & a bandaid on your heel for a couple of days. letting it breath alittle through out the day, after it has healed keep bandaids on that spot of your heel when you wear those shoes until they are broke in......It has happen to me a few times with new shoes.
