You can try natural home remedies or cosmetic surgeries.

You can read all about cosmetic surgeries for scar removal here http://www.bestoflook.com/cosmetics/Acne-Scar-Removal.aspx
or you can try some home remedies here http://www.grannymed.com/meds/scars.aspx

Here are some remedies you can make at home:

# Smear Vitamin E Oil Caplets on the scarred area.
# Smear some tea tree oil on the scar to help it heal faster.
# Put 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil on a cotton ball and apply on scar.
# Blanch green tea, soak a cotton ball and apply on the scar to help it heal.
# Mix Aloe Vera and vitamin E gel caplets and apply to the scar.

What kind of scar is it? You can't get a scar from spraining a muscle so I am assuming that you cut yourself somehow when you got hurt? If that's the case, vitamin E can be helpful and there is also an over-the-counter product that you can use that helps reduce the appearance of scars called Mederma. Hope this helps!

weird never gotten a scar from spraining anything but i have scars and they dont heal quickly the ones i had on my knee like 8 years ago are gone for the most part but i have scars on my wrist were two pins were placed and they have been there since 2003. i had scars on my feet from iv needles when i was hospitalized it looked like i was a junky but those have faded and they were in 2003. just depends on how deep the scar is merduma is good i used vitman E oil for my feet and knee i think it works better than merduma but if you want a scar gone quick then your best bet would be plastic surgy or lots of makeup

You have a scar from a sprain? I have never heard of a scar from a sprain.

Scars do not go away fast. It takes time and I mean years for scars to go away.

I still have my appendix scar from 50 years ago.

Some say Vit. E. Open the soft gel and rub it on the scar. There is now an over the counter product also available.
