Do you know for a fact whether it is broken? Only an X-ray will tell for certain. If you have trouble walking, how are gymnastics going to help? All they can do is make it worse. (You probably wouldn't be any good, anyway, with the pain.)
If it is a bruise, it can take days to get better; hot pads help (heating pad, hot water bottle).
If I wanted to really scare you, then I could tell you that you could have fractured the sacrum, the bone above the coccyx, or even the ilium, which articulates with the sacrum. Only a physical exam can tell for sure, probably with X-rays.
But, I don't want to scare you.

Call NHS direct 0845 4647 and see what they suggest. If it really hurts that much though I'd go and see your GP or go to your local minor injuries centre. Even if it is just bruised, I wouldn't think it is a good idea to do gymnastics - the worst thing you could do is land on it which could cause you more pain.
