i wake up and my sole near heel, is hurting so bad. and it hurts off and on all day. i can't stand it. i put heating pad on it. is it a sign of anything? i was just diagnosed with high cholestrol 120. i don't know if it's related. please help............

two yrs ago I had carpel tunnel surgery on my left hand, during the last six month the middle finger on that hand turns green amd the finger is ice cold when touched. Could this be from the surgery or another problem with my circulation.

Listen, my young son recently got into my props drawer, and found some props, such as beards, fake knives, and some false grapes. Now, I have no health insurance, so I cannot take my son to the hospital to get them removed. He his having trouble going to the bathroom, and I am beggining to get worried. have any quality of life. I am a nurse on a Geriatric floor. It seems that Doctors take heroic measures to keep people alive when it is there time. What are your thoughts on this complicated subject. I not saying to kill people at all. What I'm saying is we should let people go peacefully. We all need advanced directives to tell people about the care u want before it's too late.

This may be a little gross.. My nose is really stuffed up right now (I can't even breath through it) and when I blow it, it's just air. It relieves the pressure for maybe 30 seconds and then it's stuffy again. Is there anything else I can do? (I don't have any kind of medicine in the house)

Today during P.E we were working with work out machines, including bikes, rowing machines, legg press, legg extension, ect.

Anyway, I was really going hard on the bikes when the seat somehow was wrongly adjusted and my feet flew off the pedals. Both of my knees got banged up by part of the bike, and I didn't notice. When I had realized it, it was around 5 minutes later and my gym teacher just gave me some bandaids to put on it. When I remembered it like an hour ago, I put some triple antibiodic cream on the cuts on my knee and put a new bandaid on it. I know that scabs are the way the body heals itself, but dried blood makes the scab look funny, and I know if I had wiped it off and it hadn't tried on, I wouldn't have a really red ugly scab starting. I got the dried blood off of the small cuts by putting triple antibiodic cream on them with a bandaid and taking it off an hour later, but how can I get rid of the dry blood on the big cuts?

Disgusting...my hubbie's plantar wart was frozen and now it is so big and disgusting blister...what can we do? We are leaving for a trip in a week and he can barely walk...we went to the doctor and all he did was give him antibiotics..any suggestion?

A few months ago, I tripped and fell down someone's front steps. I was still feeling the pain in my left foot weeks later, so finally I went to the doctor. I had to wear a "boot" on my foot for about a month, and then I had an aircast to wear after that. Well, the week after I got my "boot" off, I tripped again in a neighbor's yard on the way to my bus stop. That was in November '06. My foot is STILL bothering me even after wearing my aircast. I've also received a major callus on my left foot in the past couple of weeks, too. By the way, a week after I got my "boot" off, I went to Europe and did a lot of walking. Any suggestions on how to ward off the pain? Or should I go to the doctor again? Thanks!

I can't seem to sleep through the entire night, especially when I have something to do in the morning, because I get excited thinking about it and then can't fall asleep.

When I finally manage to fall asleep, I wake up about three times in the night.

By the time morning comes around, I have a LOT of trouble waking up. I mean, a lot. I can even end up sleeping through my alarm. Then, I'm tired all day. Like, really tired. To the point of being almost incoherent and falling asleep.

I managed to deal with this all throughout high school, but I'm starting a new job, and I don't want to be disgustingly tired all day. What should I do? Coffee doesn't seem to have any effect on me, so I usually don't bother drinking it, unless someone else offers me some.
